This hotel is a great value, good location, and friendly staff. The other reviews made my nervous, but our room was very clean, bathroom had nice marble tile upgrades. It’s a 3min walk to the boardwalk and beach. The staff were all friendly and the restaurant/bar has good food options. All around a great stay. I would recommend it.
Nice, clean, small room. Interesting characters come to stay at Long Beach.
Basic hotel. Nothing much to do and see in the immediate area. 12 min walk to the nearest store. 5 min walk to the beach
We were looking for a place close to the beach. This property was the cheapest and served our purpose. We weren't looking for a 5 star hotel, just a place to lay our heads down at night. If you are looking for a hotel that caters to your every need, don't bother. For the price, expect what you get in NYC!
The bar and restaurant were closed which wasn’t listed anywhere. We didn’t have a car so we were somewhat stranded. Fitness center in disrepair. Lots of things in disrepair but with the facade of a recent makeover. The room ceiling was bowing. The bed was as hard as a book cover. There was a cold fridge and AC which was nice. The staff was trying hard, but you could tell they weren’t working with enough support. The hotel has potential but needs a capital investment badly. We couldn’t actually stay through the night due to the horrible bed, so we left at 4 AM.
Good location, but parking is horrible and the rooms are not very nice, very minimal, old and dirty. I had two rooms reserved for me and my co-worker. His room had bed bugs, and woke in the morning all bit up from them. Also, the front desk staff is not always there, making it difficult to get help with anything if you needed. Also, it seems like people live in the hotel, which gave it a weird vibe. I would not recommend this hotel for a family.
Disappointed in the room, bed was small and too hard for my liking. Heating unit didn’t work, I had to search for the remote, and when I found it didn’t work. Window pane was broken and duct taped up. Mini fridge was noisy, there was like a 2 1/2 inch gap under the door letting in hallway light.
I liked the cleanliness and bar of the hotel, great food and drinks! Only complaint would be that the rooms were a little on the smaller side
Very outdated and unkept. Room was very small and in need of much repair
My stay here was very enjoyable. Friendly and welcoming staff
Pretty dirty, hair in the bathroom when I first came in. Moldy old smell, walls are paper thin and you can hear basically everything, beds are rock hard, tiny room
It's a beautiful quiet place had to extend my stay until my apartment is ready. It would've been great to have a microwave and mini fridge. Also the door to the room is not aligned properly. Lights from the hall way I can see thei the top, right side and the bottom of the door makes it difficult for me to fall asleep.
Appears to be poorly managed and a bit run down. Poorly staffed. Foid was good and great bar service.
the room was so uncomfortably tight, the parking awful, we had to pay a fee of $15.00 per day. Not a good experience, will not recommend to anyone.
This hotel has bedbugs!!! And they won’t let you out of staying.
The lobby was noisy that it woke me up at 8 AM. Wedding guests were smoking pt outside my window at 2 AM.
Upon arrival, myself and my friend enjoyed food and drinks in the restaurant/lounge area. This was beautiful, the staff were great and the food was delicious. The downside was that the area was extremely hot. There was a fan but it did nothing. Upon arrival to the room, both key cards did not work. This was resolved quickly. The room was extremely small with no room in the entrance hallway to have the luggage cart and walk past. The night stand partially blocked the closet, there was only one lamp for the two night stands, no head board and nothing on the walls. Ants were discovered on one night stand. We settled in and went to sleep. We woke up freezing cold. There was no thermostat to adjust the temperature and couldn’t do it on the wall unit either. The toilet also did not flush. It did the previous night. We quickly packed up to check out. I expressed my concerns to a gentleman at the front desk. His response to the cold room was that we should be grateful it was working and cool. Not the response I expected. We were credited a small amount for the ants and broken toilet.
