Rooms clean although finer details not up to standard. Floors especially in the Hall ways were not hoovered. Restaurant tables not clean. Lovely stay, would recommend but for £220 breakfast should be included.
The room was very clean with plenty of storage space and the bed was very large and comfortable. We reported a lack of batteries in the tv remote when we arrived and staff replaced them very quickly. Although it was a double room and we had paid extra for a river view (which indeed was a great view through a large window), there was only one chair by the window to enjoy it. The shower took a long time to warm up and the ceiling shower head only produced a trickle. Lights, curtains etc. in the room were operated by a keypad which only lit up when touched, which meant it was difficult to turn on the bathroom light in isolation during the night and resulted in all of the lights being turned on instead. Housekeeping took away notes on a notepad that we had made and left on the bedside table. Lifts, corridors and other public areas were very dimly lit. Breakfast was in the executive lounge where most of the tables were a low coffee table type, not really suitable for eating from, and breakfast buffet choices were limited. Dining at the hotel was in a pan-Asian restaurant and there was nowhere to get a regular bar-type meal. The location of the hotel was great for sight-seeing, but the downsides outweighed the benefits and we would not return here.
This was an excellenta stay, great suite with a view! Dont miss brakfast at 12:th realt good, splendid service and breathtaking view! Little bra far away, but nearby busstation no 3 up to Trafalgar, a good way to see the city!
Picked this hotel for the view. Reserved a suite with river view only to be told a few weeks before our arrival that it was only a partial river view. That if I waned a “full river view “ I would need to upgrade to a balcony suite for 50 pounds more a night. Room was not worth it. Very outdated furniture, stains on carpet and floorboards coming up in areas. Good points on the staff though. They were very nice.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a 1 bedroom suite with a Riverview, and what a pleasant view it was too. Our two boys aged 6 and 8 were very excited about spending their plaza money in the hotel (a nice touch for the younger guests) and all the staff were friendly and very attentive. The kids also enjoyed the electronic gadgets for controlling the lights and the curtains - very modern, very cool. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. The hotel is conveniently located a ~10 minute walk from the nearest tube stop at Vauxhall and a little bit further to Waterloo, but the bus 77 stops frequently enough right outside the hotel. All in all nice hotel with great staff.
We really had a great experience at this hotel. Clean, nice accommodations, friendly staff. Very quiet, comfortable. Within 5-7 minutes walking distance of the Vauxhall station. Concierge staff was extremely helpful with questions about London. Our room overlooked the Thames. The view was beautiful!!
I stayed in this hotel for a night and what a fabulous room I had!! My room was on the 16th floor and when I walked in the room, I could see the water flowing in the river and then I enjoyed the sunset. The room has modern design and decor. Thoroughly recommend. The girl at the reception called Soraya was very helpful and friendly.
After checking in which was fast the room was a bit dated the bathroom nice the hotel restaurant well not good at all if your not in to Asian fusion food don't bother and expensive meal for two n a drink £104 we decided to use the boat pub over rd on Thames which was lively n good beers for food Decided to eat up town with a lot better choice the other thing aswell if you don't leave your credit card wi the hotel check in staff you can't use the fridge in your room our room was not cleaned in the 3 nights we stayed so overall not really good will not be staying again
We booked 2 nights in an Executive Double-River View room with the option of upgrading and were very pleased that we were upgraded to a Deluxe King-River View, also we upgraded to include the executive lounge and this was a great asset to the hotel with wonderful views of the Thames and parliament, especially as there are no children after 11am, the lounge staff were very friendly informative and attentive. We will now be choosing this hotel for our next stay in London.
Booked a studio apartment but was upgraded to one bed apartment. Excellent facilities : dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, microwave coffee machine. Very comfortable lounge and bedroom was comfortable with riverview. Bathroom was amazing massive bath, double rain shower with luxury elemis products. Came back from diner to find the curtains drawn and little chocolates on my pillow, lovely touch. Staff are helpful and pleasant. Well worth the little bit extra in price. Will definitely stay again.
