The location is excellent for hopping on an off the tube, but it is definitely worn and older. Staff is friendly, but the hotel needs a decent cleaning.

We loved the location and price. It was steps from the subway, and restaurants and had a beautiful outdoor space. The service was inadequate. Some days our room wasn’t touched at all, others, the spread was just thrown up. The management was not responsive. It was charming, however, and the included breakfast was adequate, if not imaginative. All in all it was a good value for the money.
Room was to hot. Shower was an adventure to get the right water temp to not burn or freeze yourself... You have to hand in your room key before you leave the hotel every single time like a child being watched.
You get what you pay for when it comes to this hotel. If you want to be in London in the Kensington area close to a tube for a low price this is the “place”. But, don’t except a 3 star experience, it is a place to lay your head.
A MINUTE WALK FROM THE EARL'S COURT TUBE, AND IN THE HEART OF THE VIBRANT AREA, THE HOTEL IS AMONG THE HANDFUL OF BUDGET VALUES IN THE NOT INEXPENSIVE BRITISH CAPITAL. ROOMS RECENTLY RE-PAINTED, BUT COULD STILL USE SOME SPRUCING UP. WHEN IT HAPPNES, EXPECT THE PRICE TO RISE
The staff were very friendly and the location was fantastic. The room itself, however, left much to be desired. The shower didn't work - only about a quarter of the water was redirected from the bath to the shower faucet. The room was old and lacked comfort. Note that it is also right next to a night club and was very loud. Room was stuffy, but opening the window meant that I had to hear the noise from the street. Did not sleep well and will look elsewhere next time.
I hate to give a horrible review because we had high hopes for this hotel, based on its convenient location in Earl's Court and the other positive reviews. I had booked and prepaid for the room for 3 nights. The first night we were there, my husband dreamt that he was being attacked by vampires who were sucking his blood, but it turned out to be a swarm of bed bugs! He spent half the night killing the bed bugs that were crawling around and caught a few. He mentioned this to reception in the morning - one employee feigned surprise and said they had never ever had bed bugs before, but another employee admitted that there were bed bugs because of the heat, but there was nothing they could do because they were fully booked and they could not move us to another room. The second night we slept on the floor near the door, which was slightly better. The next day, my husband talked to the manager about checking out a day early (due to the infestation) and getting a refund. However, we were told that because we had booked the room through Orbitz, it would not be possible for the hotel to give us a refund. We checked out early anyway, and I contacted Orbitz to let them know. I know you get what you pay for, but even on a budget, I don't think any traveler agrees to sleep in a bed bug infested room!
located a 90-second walk from the earl's court tube, the hotel's location can't be beat. while rooms are small and carpets tattered and drapes faded, the place remains very possibly the capital's best buy in a budget hotel. if someone finds something better at this price, let me know. only reservation is that it is not handicapped -accessible, due to zoning laws. however, it does not pretend to be.
Very nice location right by the underground station. A bit run down, could use some updating but overall a very nice stay.
located rıght across the street from the earls court underground, the hotel ıs ın thearea of all kınds of restaurants shops and markets. rooms are tıny and can be a bıt dıffıcult to navıgate . bathtub ın room thıs stay. rooms all have a mını frıdge. breakfast ıs medıocre. wıll use hotel on next vısıt to the capıtal
