This hotel was clean, friendly, and in a great location of town. The apartment rooms worked well for a family of 4. We were close to public transportation and many restaurants.
Very lovely staff, with a breakfast that can't be beat and room sizes that seem well above the norm!
Great location!!!! Close to everything!!!! I will stay again.
3rd floor, no elevator, very old. Wifi did not work. Expensive
I’m giving it 2 stars because at least it was clean, but I did not enjoy my stay. Not shown in the picture of the single bed is the glass door behind it leading into a garden. I felt very unsafe
Love the charm of this place. It was a climb to get our luggage to the third floor (no elevator) but once we got to our room/apartment, it was charming. There was a nice living area, a bedroom that consisted of one queen bed and three twin beds, a small kitchen area, a shower with sink and another room with a toilet and sink. Hotel staff was wonderful!
I was expecting a hotel. What I got was a site where they rent out flats by the night. The main office of the hotel had a street address of 22 Bloomsbury. My room was actually at 40 Bloomsbury. So, I had to come out of the office, down the street several other doorways, unlock the front door and descend a set of steep, narrow stairs to my room. The room itself was pleasant enough but it was just not what I was expecting or wanted. The gentleman who owned the place and ran the desk was very pleasant and clearly wanted me to be happy.
Needs to be aware that no lift and have to carry all the bags upstairs.
Great location in central London , very close to Tube , bus station and all attractions, descent room, clean and comfortable although no AC!! But luckily weather was nice, below average breakfast.
I chose the hotel because of its proximity to the University of London where I had a conference. Of course it is very close (around the block) to the British Museum, for me a big plus. My experience in the hotel was very good. The staff was very friendly. Just a warning for people who have mobility problems (and the hotel warns about this on its website). There is no elevator and there are a lot of steps.
If you are looking for a conveniently located, friendly and not-too-expensive hotel in central London - this is it. Next door to the British Museum, in walking distance to theaters, shopping, several museums, and free breakfast and WiFi - what more do you want? We spent 17 nights there. OK, so the room is a bit small (and the TV above the door is even smaller), but the management and the staff are very friendly and helpful. This is truly good value for your money.
Our AC did not work in our unit for the two nights we were there. It was VERY warm in London over those days. Everything else was adequate but far too warm.
Great great location!! Hotel is small but comfortable, clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Definitely recommend.
