Every staff person I interacted with was great but the condition of the complex was not great. There was mold in the bathroom shower. Sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable. The tv did not work properly and the fan squeeked and the light flashed and piped when I pushed it to turn the lights on on the morning but it was all fixed within and hour and fifteen minutes after reporting it. The room was on the fourth and there is no elevator.
From the reviews and the price I was nervous about our accommodations in London. When we arrived at our apartments, I assumed we were in the wrong place, because from the outside our apartments looked so nice. When we arrived in our room it was exactly what I expected; very small, but clean, and perfect for our 2 night stay. It was only a 2 minute walk to the Underground stop, and there were tons of little shops right near our hotel. The bathroom was tiny, but we didn't mind. This was certainly no 5 star hotel, and our room was hot, but with the provided fan we slept fine. My only complaint was our train home left Eusten Station very early, so the woman at the front desk called us a cab the night before for 4:30 AM. The cab never came, so I called the number she gave me. They said they never had our reservation. Luckily, we were able to get a black top cab immediately, so crisis averted, but for a few minutes we were very nervous that we were going to miss our train due to the snafu.
Was a big room, small bathroom. Great location, just steps from two tube stops. Check in at building address #55, not # 11.
At first, I was very hesitant about booking these apartments. There were no reviews on this website, and so I booked this hoping for the best. After seeing bad reviews on another website, I immediately wanted to cancel my reservation, despite the non refundable charges. However, I was pleasantly surprised with my room. It was very clean and comfortable. A good size and a nice kitchen. A good overall value. It is a street over from the tube location, and maybe a 3 minute walk. The tube location connects on the mainline of all of the major attractions too. I would definitely recommend staying here, and not to be discouraged by other reviews!
