We were here to visit my daughter who lives one street over from this flat. The location was perfect for us. There are grocery stores, coffee shops and breakfast places within a 5-7 min. walk. The Finchley Tube station is 5 min. walk. Very safe neighborhood. The bed was very comfortable. The source of heat is radiant flooring which was so nice on your feet. I would definitely stay here again.
Great location and nice apartment. Everything was as described and shown in photos. Nothing fancy, but a clean, solid place to stay. The kitchen had everything we needed. Nice grocery just up the street (Waitrose & Partners). If you’re here for a visit, it is walkable (30-60 min) to Regent’s Park, the British Museum (and nearby locations), and Abbey Road if you fancy a walk across some famous zebra stripes. The Freud Museum also is very close, but we didn’t make it there. If you’re not up for a walk, the Finchley Underground Station is a 5 minutes walk. If you like classic cars, you’ll get to walk past a nice old Citroen DS on the way to the tube each day. As others have said, there is no partition between the bedroom and rest of the apartment. It was not an issue for us, but could be if you and your partner keep different schedules. The only suggestion for improvement is an exterior sign with the apartment number so future guests do not go knocking on the door of the kind, but bewildered, primary resident who lives in the main part of the building.
Very convenient location, close to Finchley Rd tube station, cafes, supermarkets, etc. Apartment was ideal for my two week solo visit to London. Kitchen is well equipped. Apartment is quiet, with minimal noise from unit above. I would stay here again.

Modern, clean and quiet, but needs important alterations.
Clean and quiet. Convenient for shopping and public transportation. Adequate provisions for cooking and dining. Could use a sliding door between bedroom alcove and kitchen/living room so one person can sleep if the other watches TV or uses the main room. Definitely needs a partial wall or some sort of barrier between the shower and rest of the bathroom so the shower doesn’t splatter water all over the bathroom floor and on the toilet, etc. Having a washer but no drier means visiting the launderette, as hang drying inside takes forever.

We were privileged to have been able to stay in this house.
Basement flat was clean and quiet. Adequately provided for cooking and dining. Close to shopping and public transit. Could use a few alterations. Needs a sliding door between the bedroom alcove and the living room/kitchen, so one person can sleep if the other is watching TV or using the kitchen. Needs a partial wall, glass barrier or shower curtain between the shower and the rest of the bathroom to prevent water spraying over most of the bathroom including the floor and toilet. (Unavoidable as the overhead shower bounces off your body and sprays the room.) Having a washer but no drier means a trip to the launderette as hanging clothes out to dry in a basement apartment takes forever, especially in humid weather.
