The property was fine to crash for the night after a work event. The worst part of the stay was the check-in. It felt more like a customs interrogation in Eastern Europe than a hotel check-in!

There wasn't a lot of communication, a bit of false advertisement, and little welcome. And no lift to upper floors, beware light handicaps.

Overall the visit was really good.. loved the daily room clean. And how pleasant and helpful the staff where.. The room was dated, however that is because the place is victorian. The decor some things where like the carpet was frayed in patches and a few places has cracks in the wall and out side front window. Bathroom clean though as well had cracked paint on the front panel. Staff are friendly and helpful.. Overall was good.

Very few amount of electric sockets in the room especially with 1 of the broken. The room was clean on 1st appearance but top of cupboard covered in dust. Room interior is dated including carpet, little amount of storage room. Front desk staff very pleasant and helpful especially on helping us to store our cases on checkout day so we could have a final day in the city without our luggage. Very close to the nearest underground station

disgusting room with rude staff

the room I was put in stank. the ceiling was covered in browning water marks that looked like there was a significant leak from above. I was woken to the sound of a heavy drip in the room, right next to my luggage. when I checked out the member of staff tried to charge me for breakfast even though my booking states it is included. when I argued my case he got visibly annoyed and walked off saying "you're done here". i couldn't believe the state of the room, but there was no chance to speak to the staff in the morning after the altercation over double breakfast charge.
