Awful noise

While the apartment is exactly as shown, clean tidy etc. What isn't mentioned is that it's above a pub in a party street. So, If you are looking for a good nights sleep after work (like me), look elsewhere. If you are here for a party in the middle of town, then a good choice

Our stay in Base Serviced Apartments - Cumberland Apartments recently was excellent. Its about a 10 minute walk from where you pick up the keys to the apartment. The apartment itself was well equipped and located it a fantastic location about 5 - 10 mins walk from most main areas of the city.

We were in Liverpool for a gig so the apartment was ideal. The street it’s located on, is opposite a bar but that did not disturb us at all. The apartment was clean and in a good location so central to car parking and bars.

Communication was good, they phoned before hand to clarify that I understood that there might be noise from street (which it was not bad!) & that I was happy to go ahead with booking. After check-out they called again to check that everything was as expected. Very professional & good Customer service. The apartment was comfortable & well equipped for an overnight or longer stay.

In fairness we were contacted prior to our stay and informed the area we were staying in was “Lively” luckily we were working during the night so it wasn’t that bad. Plus we’d already paid so not sure what would’ve been done had we disagreed.

Cumberland Street Apartments

Cumberland Street apartments are lovely but opposite two nightclubs, which is fine for younger guests but not so good for older guests, so I would recommend staying in one of the apartments in a quieter area if you are older than that. Having said that the apartments are lovely, plenty of room, very clean and all the amenities you would need. I would definitely recommend Base Apartments.

The apartments themselves are very well kept and clean. Although mine was up four flights of stairs! Location within Liverpool is good, although there's no double glazing in the windows so you can hear the bar/club opposite clearly into the night! Check-in procedure wasn't clear during booking - you get the keys from a location which is a 30min walk away...

Great location if you don't mind the noise.

Hmmm - opposite a pretty noisy drag club, and with the weather and no air conditioning we had a choice of boiling or noise. We went for the noise which persisted to the wee hours of the morning. This particular apartment had two rooms - one facing the street with the club, and one at the back of the building which was significantly quieter. We had teen kids with us, so they got the quiet room and we managed to sleep with the noise. Apartment was spotless and had all facilities we needed.

Generous apartment

Very nice comfortable apartment. It tended to be a bit noisy because of street noise but it was in a good location - up a side street off the main road next to a small pub. Super clean. Very lovely spacious rooms for the price. Warm and homely.

Can get a bit noisy at night with the clubs near by but you are made aware of this before you book
