Lovely, friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent location, away from loud bars but still walking distance to everything you'd want to do in Lisbon. Excellent value for money. Rooms have been modernised in a lovely old building. The bed is actually super comfy which is a rarity in any hotel but one of the most important parts. Only minus was the plumbing sometimes had a foul smell, but it's an old building and it wasn't the whole time.

The room was very spacious and had good amenities. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. We did have a problem with our keycode not working on new years eve, it was very stressfully to think that we may not access the property until the morning, this was however sorted

Attempted to change the date but the hotel lied and indicated they were fully booked. I saw availability on other websites including Expedia. I had booked the hotel before the flight and couldnt get a flight from Paris to Lisbon for the dates I wanted, so I booked a flight to Porto with the plan to travel down the next day to Lisbon. I asked the hotel to changed the date, but you know. I stayed at Holiday Inn express in Porto instead, had fun, extended my stay and then travel to Lisbon 2 days later. I also booked a room at Holiday Inn in Lisbon for a few nights. It made up for the disappointment of this hotel.

Excellent value for money, clean room with a large comfy bed and good bathroom. Staff were friendly and you are within walking distance of all the major sites. Can get a little noisy at times in the streets below but you are in Bairro Alto which has a bustling nightlife, a great base for a city break.

Good location in Bairro Alto, lots of bars, cafes & restaurants within walking distance. Spotless room & comfortable nights sleep. We were put in an annexe with a separate entrance, I think because we chose room only & didn't choose breakfast. The room did seem a little dated but adequate. I wouldn’t stay during the summer here, there’s no a/c only a fan.

Good location, and perfect if you’re looking for a safe, walkable place. It’s nearby plenty of shops and restaurants, as well as bars and nightlife in the evening, and is a block off of a “main” road if you’re concerned about walking backstreets late. Breakfast was diverse and always available on time, and the staff were friendly and receptive; they also spoke English which was great as someone that knows no Portuguese.

Very noisy had to use the fan due to lack of AC Fan is extremely noisy also a lot of street noise and had to leave the windows open again because of the heat Therefore could not sleep
