This hotel was situated on a pretty little square. It was charming, well-appointed, supremely comfortable, and all the staff were particularly pleasant to deal with. The breakfasts in the morning offered an enormous choice, and everything was plentiful and delicious. They would even make us something special if we asked, like an omelet, or a special coffee. We loved this hotel. It was my favorite of our entire trip!

The area was lovely, we had a master suite and it was ok. The room was very warm and wouldn’t cool down, the bed was very hard. The room was clean but for us it wasn’t worth the cost.

Outstanding experience from all standpoints

I can't praise enough the staff of Hotel Alegria that is for their kindness, professionalism, level of service and attention to their clients' needs. While the property is wonderful, extremely well located, impeccably maintained and with a lot of amenities, the staff and during this stay made all the difference! From the check-in experience to the Alegria "Kiosk" experience for aperitifs and snacks all members of Hotel Alegria's staff couldn't do enough in the matter of being accommodating and extremely courteous and "fast". I can't recommend enough this outstanding property and from all standpoints (having tried so many other hotels in Lisbon). Thank you to everybody at Hotel Alegria ... I will be back !
