Stayed up this Radisson Hotel while on a business trip and I have to say what a great place to stay at. Very quiet extremely clean the staff is super professional and friendly made me feel very welcome. The food is wonderful specially the breakfast buffet totally recommend it made me feel quite at home
It is not up with the big luxury players, but this hotel will suit your tourist or business needs. Good location, ample bed and bathrooms and very good breakfast. They have terrace on top. Taxi stand at the entrance of the hotel. Solid choice and good value for the money
We were six staying at the hotel for one night, ready to pick the Cruz Del Sur bus from the Javier Prado terminal. The staff was waiting for us and checkin was quick. Rooms were clean. We were prepared lunch boxes instead of breakfast due to the early checkout time the following morning. Plenty of restaurants on the streets around the hotel.
Underneath some minis renews and some nice details lies a tired and old hotel. Probably not worth the price. Anyway it’s clean and the room spacious. Breakfast average and boring. Staff courteous and location is actually good. Not impressed but still not THAT bad.
The hotel is located in an upscale area of the city. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. The room is big and comfortable. The breakfast excellent. The staff are the best and very polite and helpful.
Nice hotel, one block from large Ave, still good traffic street, Great for business Lots of restaurants close by (1/2 mile) including some of the most famous Rims great and clean, nothing fancy Great stay
Our family planned a trip to Machu Picchu, Peru. On our way there we reserved a suite for 4 at this hotel in the capital, Lima. It was my husband and I and our 2 sons for 2 nights. The suite has 2 double beds, a living room area and lots of space. An unexpected family emergency caused us to extend our stay to 4 nights. When we checked in the hotel staff insisted on charging us an additional $80.00 per night for 2 "extra adults" (for a total of $320 plus taxes). We asked to speak with the manager, who did nothing to fix the situation. We had no choice but to agree, it was late and we are not familiar with Lima, Peru to try to find other accommodations. When we arrived at our suite, the beds were ridiculously hard. We have traveled all over the world and stayed in all sorts of accommodations over the years, hostels, motels, hotels, and luxury resorts. Never have we had such uncomfortable beds. My husband and I developed terrible back pain the first night and had no choice but to endure pain for our entire stay. When we spoke with the front desk about it, they said they would add a bedspread under our sheets, however, we did not feel any difference. By the second night, our sons had back pain too. Also, upon our arrival, we had pre-arranged a hotel taxi to pick us up at the airport. They charged us $45. That same taxi driver offered to take us to the center of the city for $30 plus tip each way. We instead took a taxi from the corner of the hotel for $7 to the center. On our last day our taxi to the airport was $15. When I asked at the front desk why the taxis they call are so expensive, they said they have special insurance. However, I could tell by the way the young woman would not look at me that it was a lie. Terrible experience and we felt ripped off at every turn.
We stayed a weekend at the hotel. Almost everything was excellent, the staff, the room, the breakfast and the swimmingpool (thou it was wintertime we could relax in the sun and take a bath). The Internet was OK to browse, but downloading of newspaper (e-news) could even be better. We recommend the hotel!
Good location with walk distance to many restaurants , excellent price, comfortable room with a quality king size bed and large bathroom.Fair Internet signal. I'll give them my best recommendation and will stay diffidently during my nest stay.
First thing - Do not know why most Radisson properties in Latin America are located in old buildings! But this one is very well maintained. Big rooms, good clean bathroom, good ventilation (absolute necessity in an old building) and friendly staff. And breakfast is top notch. And location is good - close to the CBD and yet quiet and plenty of restaurants right next door.
- Free buffet breakfast
- Free WiFi and wired Internet in rooms and public areas
- Free parking
- Onsite dining
