STAY ELSEWHERE!! Checked into this property at night when it was dark but I knew we wouldn't last. Front desk person was short with me and rude. Our 'ocean front' room was dingy and gross. The carpet was wet and stained (could not take my shoes off!) the walls were dirty, bathroom disgusting, peeling paint, furniture that looked like it was from the good will. Truly depressing. No coffee maker in the room (unacceptable!). We checked out immediately the next day and got a partial refund as they didn't have any cleaner or updated ocean front rooms. So we wasted a ton of money, don't even consider this hotel. I find it extremely misleading that anyone gave this a good review and that websites have this property listed as a 4 star hotel- it's more like a dumpy motel 6 but with mildew. Just thinking about that room makes my skin crawl.

The Resort is just what we like, we have stayed here several times and truly enjoy ourselves. Evening music is great...

I have always loved this resort! The staff are always incredibly friendly and it is a beautiful place to stay. The dining and room price is a bit expensive, but it is worth it. The spa, pool, and ambiance are amazing! Covid has decreased some of the beauty. The best dining area is used only for breakfast, which is disappointing because the outdoor seating looks over a Koi fish pond and a garden that is stunning when the torches are lit. Instead they chose to use the prior bar area for dinner. There was sometimes the option to eat outdoors, but even a hint of rain and they closed it. The view was not the same. Also, the outdoor bar is not my favorite. The dinner lounge is already a bar and on my last visit the new outdoor bar was a dessert bar, which was a much nicer feature. The amenities still remain marvelous. They have a spa, gift shop and a Starbucks all on location. I highly recommend this place to others. It is worth it!

The room is very basic and loud. We can hear the elevator singing, people talking in the halls, etc. the grounds of hotel are beautiful and the pools are great!

Kauai Beach Resort is close to the Lihue airport, so it is our go to property when we have an early flight. The pools are nice, good pool bar, and we enjoyed the live music in the evenings at the restaurant.

Great place to stay with excellent grounds and facilities. An older resort with much character and old style Hawaiian charm!

Offering day passes, lots kids unsupervised, outside food/drink everywhere, day pass guests clearly not interested in rules or ambience. No airport shuttle, no restaurants, very short staffed. Some very nice bartenders and one great maintenance guy who fixed our tv when it stopped working. Vending machine took money and stopped working, desk said they couldnt help but “like i have my own soda you can come down and get”. Breaker in entry went out no ac or light available. Generally seems to be hit hard by covid but day pass sales greatly change clientele and ambience of the “resort”

Very friendly and helpful staff, especially the housekeeping staff and the front desk! Great overall experience for my family, and will definitely come back here again some day.

The door to our room did not close properly we had to constantly check to see if it was closed. The double beds were not comfortable.

Parking in relation to your room is a burden and the hotel is showing its age. The restaurant is overpriced and the food is average. The location is great and the staff is very friendly.

I like how it had acces to the beach, however the waters are not safw to swim in it. You could get your feet wet, and enjoy the scenic view. For the price they charge per day, i think the gym can use a renovation. Its small and some outdated equipment.

Everything was fine. We enjoyed our stay at the Kauai Beach Resort

overall was fine ac did not work pools were nice so many

Nice pool. Room was very humid and damp. Had to park in a non-paved lot, very muddy.

I liked that it had a water slide for kids I wish the dinner buffet was more than just sat, night

The staff was friendly at check in. The room was nice with partial ocean view and overlooking a field. We were here for 5 nights so the noise can vary based on who the neighbors are. We did not eat on premise. The pools were awesome! It’s better than the pools at Princeville Resort where my friends were staying. The beach is walking distance and can dip your feet in. Overall highly recommend. Also parking fee included in 32 resort fee, so that’s cool.

Was very clean & right on the beach. Staff was very friendly
