We booked a VRBO with you from August 30 to September 6. Upon our arrival, we were informed that there would be ongoing work, including dry rot repairs and painting, which made the property unbearable during the day. This was unexpected, and we were not notified of these disruptions beforehand.
To make our stay tolerable, we had to purchase three large fans for a total of $202, which we have left at the property since we cannot take them with us on the plane. Additionally, one of the fans was already broken when we arrived.
Had we been aware of these conditions, we would have chosen a different location. Therefore, we are requesting compensation for the inconvenience and the cost of the fans.
