One of Kentucky Local Rentals prized properties, JW’s Loft. Beautifully remodeled duplex home built in 1914 with Equestrian Motif is the perfect atmosphere for your Lexington stay. Located in one of Lexington`s most desirable and stylish neighborhoods, Mentelle Park, and adjacent to Chevy Chase and Kenwick. Enjoy Lexington like a local in this quaint spot near downtown, UK campus, Kroger Field, Keeneland, Rupp Arena, and a short drive to the Kentucky Horse Park.

JW’s Loft is a 2 level, 1 bedroom with loft, 1 full bath property with room for 4 people to sleep comfortably. The split level floor plan offers a large kitchen, breakfast nook, full bathroom, Washer, Dyer and large Living Room on the first floor. The second floor offers a spacious loft with 2 Twin beds and a closed queen sized bedroom with large guest closet.

Wonderful covered front porch, large back deck with grill and spacious back yard offer tons of outdoor entertaining. Picket fence enclosure is perfect for letting your pet off the leash to run around.Off street parking for 1 vehicle is provided behind the house. Plenty of street parking in front of the property. Kathy’s Place is ideal for UK sporting events, Keeneland Races, Horse Park Eventing, and Lexington`s Town Branch is on the Official Bourbon Trail.

Owners and Property Manager live nearby and are readily available. Kentucky Local Rentals hosts multiple vacation rentals in the greater Lexington area and are ready to give you a Kentucky Experience you wont forget. The neighborhood surrounding JW’s Loft is absolutely lovely and very community and locally driven. Walking around the area is inspiring; the architecture and preservation is beautiful! Located a block from Ashland: Henry Clay`s Estate which was established in 1811 and is a beautiful preserve of historic property and nature. Tons of shopping, restaurants and bars in Chevy Chase, Downtown and the Warehouse Block. Grocery, liquor store, drug store all within a mile. Lextran picks up nearby and has frequent scheduled runs to downtown and Keeneland Race Track. Location is about an $8 Uber/Lyft to downtown/Rupp Arena.

Pets: We are very Pet Friendly. Nonrefundable fee of $150 per pet. 2 dogs only maximum. Other type pets will need approval (All negotiable - Call Host)

A pet fee of $150 for one pet and $200 for 2 pets are required at check in. Pet Fee will be added at the time of booking. Any mail or packages that arrives after your stay will be marked `return to sender` or notify the delivery service to pick up the package.

JW’s Loft was a perfect location for our visit to Lexington with easy walking distance downtown and to Euclid Ave shops and restaurants. The entire apartment was well-furnished and clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for preparing meals. Our only issue during our stay was a persistent odor. Both the property manager and the owner were very responsive and did their best to correct the problem. This is a very pleasant property in a nice walkable neighborhood which I would highly recommend.

To be honest, we used this spot as an overflow for guests during our annual 4th of July vacation with friends. My family stayed the first night but we wanted to stay here the whole week/weekend because it was so adorable! We came again at the end to check out and again thought it was just too cute! I especially loved the upstairs antique look. Thank you!

This was a great find. We stay in Lexington often for equestrian events at the Horse Park. This house is in a nicer neighborhood near downtown and lots of nice places to eat. It has off street parking and very importantly a great shower with super water pressure AND a washer and dryer! Very comfortable beds and lovely decor. Just right for a homey place to sleep and rest after a long hot day at a horse show. Very clean, safe, lovely.

Clean, good off-street parking, quiet and safe location. But this is a one bedroom rental, not two as advertised. The single beds are located on the upstairs landing leading to the bedroom. Okay for a couple with two small children. Definitely not okay for two couples. Note that the bedroom is upstairs and the only bathroom is downstairs.

Lovely home in secure neighborhood. No issues whatsoever. Hostess responded quickly to our needs. We were able to secure our bikes to the tree in the backyard. We stayed a full week so we were required to take out the trash to the curb. Taking out other people's trash (who only stayed a few days but left pizza boxes) should not have been our responsibility, though. Hostess was very friendly.

Home away from home.

My husband and I plus our two dogs stayed here for 10 weeks. We were in between homes. This is a simple home. But it was clean and comfortable. It’s an older home. Some of the furniture is a little worn. Could use an overall redo. But all in all it was very welcoming and comfortable. The location of the house couldn’t be better. It was wonderful to get to know Lexington. Walking distance to at least a half a dozen restaurants. If you’re interested in visiting UK it’s just a stones throw away, I would definitely recommend this house if you’re interested in staying in downtown Lexington. It’s in an historical area surrounded by beautiful homes. Very walkable and safe. The stairs going upstairs are rather steep. So if you have mobility issues, this home may not be the best for you. It is a duplex. The other side is one story . Plenty of street parking plus you get a parking spot in the back of the house. We will miss this little house.

Lovely home away from home

The house is adorable. The furnishings are super comfortable and very well kept, lovely art and decor. The little yard was a perfect spot for an afternoon read and relaxing. The neighborhood is also beautiful. Lovely big ol Kentucky homes along a tree lined street that felt very safe, at all hours. It was a wonderful stay and I recommend it to everyone.

Convenient Location

Small and quaint location. AC upstairs was not enough for the summer KY heat. 2 Bedrooms more appropriate description is one bedroom and a loft. Stairs are pretty steep and wood, so it would be advisable to bring a crate or a way to keep dogs downstairs if your are traveling with them. Owner/property manager were very responsive to all inquiries.
