The room's seemed cleaned and ready for us. The bathroom looked like it could use a facelift but since I slept like log the 2 different time's I've stayed here I was good with it. Thank's for being centrally located between the Bluegrass parkway and UK clinic.
This inn was the worst place we have ever attempted to stay at. Upon check in the staff gave us parts to deliver to the room. This should have been our first tip off. The room itself was terrible. Over all the room was disgustingly dirty: stains on bedding, holes in walls, walls were filthy and furniture was dirty. We were so disgusted by the room we left and drove the few hours home. Absolutely DISGUSTING!!!
Yes I was not expecting much, but still... our flight brought us in late and with a kid we wanted the closest we could find to the airport. The rooms were 'clean' but there was dirt on the walls, sheets and comforter were stained and had cigarette burns (this was a no smoking) shower had paint pealing out of the tub and was dirty so we did not use it. Room smelled bad and AC did not really work, we were warm and sticky all night. The free 'breakfast' was toast and and oh or Coffee. Yes it was inexpensive but not worth $75 dollars
We booked the room for one night in advance and over the phone. We arrived, checked in and paid for the room. After seeing the room, we were going to check out, get our money back and go elsewhere. Unfortunately for us, it was the weekend of the Kentucky Derby and all the hotels in the area were fully booked. We had nowhere else to go, so we had to stay. We did not shower there as the bathroom was disgusting. Everything is old and in bad shape and there appears to be no attempt to fix the problems or do proper cleaning. I am posting pictures of the dirty bathroom, cobwebs, and other problems in the room. There was a wall light fixture with no bulb in it, just an open socket (very dangerous). The wall outlet the fridge was plugged into was partially hanging out of the wall with electrical contacts exposed (very dangerous). The fridge itself was dirty and rusty. Not only that, but everything we put in it was frozen solid the next morning. Three times after midnight, the next room took a shower and the pipe noise was so loud it sounded like it was our shower running, but louder. We were also told that all they had for breakfast was cerial as there was some remodeling going on. I did not see anything that looked like remodeling and would not eat anything from that place anyway. If they can't keep the rooms clean, I'm definitely not going to trust their food. We will never try another Americas Best Value Inn again.
Needed to sleep a few hours and had always liked the look of the motel. Having only a 4-5 hour window for sleeping and thinking a lesser rate was surprised that a single non- smoking room wasn't available they offered a 3 bed non-smoking for a double. Still ended up costing $82. Was clean and comfortable.
The place was very, little old but nothing wrong with that. Originally had planned trip for end of month then need to change to the middle of the first week, then needed at the last minute to change for the very next day after I had mafe the change. They were able to accommodate us and was able to get a room with 3 beds at the last minute. It was very quit and near where we had to go and would stay there again
I booked this hotel online when I was diverted on a flight from Asheville, NC to Lexington Kentucky because of a snowstorm. I booked the room for four people and because they advertised a shuttle. I called when we landed and the person answering the phone could not have been more rude. He insisted there was no shuttle and that I had to take a cab and that the price would be $20 extra per person for the night. So for the four of us the room would have been an extra $40 that was not stated anywhere. I have a twenty year background in the hotel business and have never heard anyone charging that and it was clearly a scam so we never used the reservation.
Good value for under $70 room. Location is excellent, convenient to Lexington as well as Versailles, and close to Bluegrass Parkway entrance and airport. Room was OK, bath in need of heavy cleaning and paint, but everything worked fine. Bed and HVAC all good. Fridge and microwave useful. Breakfast is limited continental plus a wafflemaker I did not have time to enjoy. If you're only here for one night, will probably be fine for a solo traveler.
People where nice. Place is old and rooms run down. This is a last resort place. I paid for my room , walked in to the room and walked out. Found another hotel. Room looked like it was painted years ago and had a smell to it. Linens looked like they have been there since the fifties. There really is not much good to say.
They have Amazing huge pool which my kids enjoyed a lot. My kids and family loved this place. staff was kind & good service. Close to airport and only 10 min from rupp arena and also very quiet.I stayed there for my nephew's graduation and liked it very much.
