Great place to stay on a budget

The room was amazingly comfortable for the price. The other people staying there were kind of sketchy. Kind of felt like a place where pimps and hoes would go but my room was great. Like my old Captain used to say keep your head on a swivel...

Not clean. The mirror had not been wiped down in centuries, I could hardly see myself. Dusty, and dingy. I spilled some water on the floor and when I wiped it up, the towel was BLACK! The showers as coated in soap scum, and the lobby smells of cigarette smoke. Not impressed for $110. More of a 1 star for sure.

The place was falling apart from the wall paper to outdated amenities. Pretty sure my sheets weren’t washed based off the various different hairs found on them. Shower didn’t a down only forward blasting the back wall of the shower and didn’t have enough leg room for a toilet.

The fire alarm was set off numerous times in the 3 weeks we stayed on a business assignment. There were police called several times to escort suspected drug dealers and prostitutes out of the facility. We had to change rooms after the first couple of days due to a TV going out in our room. The cable went out in our new room and we only had wi-fi but were not given a discounted rate. Our power,including fridge and AC unit went out for an entire 14 hrs during June, we werent allowed to change rooms or get a refund for that day. Dead roaches in the bathroom. Overall bad experience.

Bag of garbage from previous guest was in the room when I checked in. Floor seems not to have been cleaned. Fridge was not plugged in. No ice bucket. Nothing major, but minor inconveniences that could easily be remedied.

Smell of Marijuana could be smelled in all hallways, and in our room, bought airfreshiners and spray, worked a bit, manager would not give a partial refund because we needed to leave because it was so bad... we left 3 days early. No smooking signs everywhere but clearly not adheared to. I know pot is legal in Maine but nees flash not everone wants to be a pothead.... not recommended unless you love pot and loudness....

Property has been renovated and my room was very nice. All essentials worked great, comfy bed. Neighbors were extremely loud all hours of the night for most of the week. Seems to double as a dorm for a local college. But an incredible bang for the buck.
