Lewes vacation house

Clean, convenient, lots of room.

We had a great time and could get to beaches, restaurants, minature golf etc easily. Spent a great day in the club house too. Couldn’t use grill. Easy to cook in the large well stocked kitchen as well.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful week at the Coastal Club. The house was large enough to comfortably accommodate 10 people, including four children. The amenities at the clubhouse were terrific. The kids loved the pools, game rooms, and playground. The house is conveniently located to downtown Lewes, the beaches, and all shopping needs. We look forward to returning next year.

Family Fun

Had a great time in this vacation community. 4 generations ranging from 1 to 81 this house fit us all and the Lighthouse club was fun for everyone. A few hiccups with the house but nothing deal breaking, no working can opener, dull knives, no grill utensils, couldn't figure out the thermostat, door key pad was finicky, small dining table, not enough seating on back porch, wasn't the cleanest house I've rented, ect. Little annoyances but still a great time. Location was great and the Lighthouse club was all you really need to have a great vacation!

Nice Home, Disappointing Stay

We are a big VRBO family. We have used them all over the world. This one left us not feeling great about our stay - and it was for my parents' 50th Anniversary. The house is large and for the most part, comfortable, but missed the mark on some big items - no toilet paper, no paper towels, no hand towels, etc. We understood we were to bring our own linens, but after a 5 hour drive, no toilet paper in the house was awful. The bottom of the listing mentions additional cost for use of the clubhouse. Let me clarify, it is $25/person/day. For my 2 children and one adult to watch in the pool them was additional $75/day. Disappointing. Upon arrival we found the outdoor grill to be in many pieces on the deck table. The property agent came to put it back together, but failed to tell us it did not work. After purchasing and planning a BBQ for 12 people, no way to cook all the food was also disappointing. Finally, the clean up rules required us to vacuum with a broken vacuum cleaner.

Perfect getaway

The house was very clean and much more spacious than the pictures show. We had a great time, used the trails and also the amenities at the club house(although you do need to buy passes separate if you want to use the clubhouse as it's a separate company I think). We drove every day to Cape Henlopen state park, which was about a 15-20 minute drive, and only a short drive on the busy route 1. There is great ice cream place just 6 minutes away, that you can get to using just the back roads. After we checked out in the evening we realized that we left something at the house and Steve was incredibly helpful retrieving it late in the evening and getting it back to us. The check-in process was very smooth, we had all the information we needed, would highly recommend this property. Hopefully we can come back again in the future!

A Perfect Family Retreat

This was a truly wonderful stay for our family. The house was well-stocked and accommodated everyone in our family from my elderly parents, to the teenagers, to the toddlers with plenty of space to live and play. The neighborhood is serene and friendly and the amenities were perfect for a family getaway. The clubhouse and pool were a big hit! Easy drive to stores, restaurants, and Lewes Beach which might be our new favorite beach! Any questions we had were promptly answered by the property manager. I would highly recommend for families of all ages!

Great House Near Lewes Beach

This home was very clean, had comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen and was in a great location close to Lewes beach. My extended family and I all had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the activities at the Clubhouse as well. I would highly recommend this home!

Nice Beach house

Gorgeous beach house, approximately 30 minutes from the beach with traffic. Lots of amenities. Great for family vacation.

Beautiful house in a great neighborhood

We had a great time on our vacation! The house is in a beautiful neighborhood with an awesome pool. The pool is slightly smaller than the photos make it look, but still plenty of space. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. Would absolutely stay here again. The frogs are comically loud at night but everyone was still able to sleep just fine. The ONLY downfall was the cell service in the area, which is no fault of the owners. Lots of farmland and new construction around so I assume that's why. The wifi worked great while in the house though!
