Bienvenido a Folly Cottage, llamado así por una gran locura en la colina detrás de la cabaña. Es una casa hogareña del siglo 18 con comodidades modernas, ideal para unas vacaciones familiares en el este de Neuk. Se acaba de instalar una nueva calefacción central de gas y una estufa de leña para que sea muy acogedora. Muy cómoda sala de estar, acogedora cocina-comedor, un dormitorio doble, un doble y un sofá cama plegable. Precioso jardín para tomar el sol, vistas a los campos hacia atrás. Una gran base para explorar el Neuk, cerca de las playas, campos de golf, paseos por el campo, restaurantes, tiendas de productos agrícolas, de St. Andrews sólo 15 minutos. Los viajes a las Highlands, Perthshire, Edimburgo todo desde aquí.
En el East Neuk hay muchas cosas, especialmente durante el verano de 2019. Para los amantes de la música está el festival de música East Neuk a fines de junio; Festival de Crail en junio; el Festival de Artes de Pittenweem a principios de agosto, el Día de St Monans Sea Queen en junio, el Anstruther Muster en mayo y el Día de Elie Fayre en julio. Colinsburgh is a nice little town near the sea. There is so much to see and do nearby and we have been all day off to see the sights.

Nice little place within an easy drive to lots of spots. There's not really anything in the small town where it's located and the cottage is on a fairly busy road. The host was very responsive and great with communication.

Spacious two bedroom home

The enclosed garden was a real bonus for us with our dogs. We found the property to be spacious and conveniently located. We found it easily and were able to park right beside the house.

There was everything you'd ever need for a comfortable stay and by that I mean things like a teapot & cosy, oven gloves, decent wine glasses, mugs and a full compliment of cutlery & utensils..Cleaning products in kitchen & bathroom top.

Lovely cosy holiday home

The pictures don't do the property justice. The home has such a nice, relaxed feel and is well equipped with everything you need. The fresh eggs and Easter treats were such a lovely touch also. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a lovely time!!

Lovely cottage and great host with cosy living room and well equipped kitchen diner.

We loved staying at this property. The log burner is the soul of the house. I managed to cook lots of nice homemade dishes for my children. There are a couple of things that could be renovated but it is very homely.

Value for money

House had all we needed for our short stay. Good communication with the host. Excellent base for exploring Fife.On a main road, so some road noise, but this did not bother us.

Perfect in every way

We stayed in this delightful cottage for a week over our daughter’s graduation from St Andrews. Ideally located for exploring the East Neuk and one of the best equipped self catering establishments we have every stayed in. A real home from home with comfy beds, private sun trap garden and easy parking. We were made to feel very welcome and would definitely recommend and return. Five stars ⭐️
