Ramada Lethbridge

My very first negative rating of anything. We knew what to expect when we booked and there was really no surprises, except for the breakfast which totally lacks imagination. The front desk staff were wonderful. However, the manager leaves so much to be desired. He was rude and smug and totally lacked any compassion or respect. We will never return to this place. There is no need for the manager to respond to this, and if you do Mr Manager, Do Not wish for me to have a nice day!

We had some questions and concerns regarding eating in their restaurant given our severe allergies. The staff were dismissive, didn't listen or consider some of the very easy accommodations that we suggested. In a follow up request to a manager or supervisor via the website form, there was no acknowledgement of our concerns. Have stayed in numerous other hotels who care to make sure we are happy, safe, and listened to. Very, very disappointing that this place wouldn't even listen to us.

I frequently travel to Lethbridge and always choose Ramada. Having stayed at many hotels in Lethbridge, I feel Ramada offers the best value for those who value affordability. While it is an older building, it is very clean, well-maintained and quiet. The location is outstanding and offers easy access to all of Lethbridge's amenities. The rooms are very large and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is standard for a hotel of this caliber and is always well-stocked and fresh. Staff are excellent as well. If you're looking for ultra-luxury, this property won't deliver, but if you're looking for a clean and comfortable place to sleep, you cannot go wrong with Ramada Lethbridge!

I am not sure why this place gets negative reviews. It has obviously been renovated and the rooms are very nice. The beds are amazing, I honestly had the sleep of my life. The location is great, just off the main drag and as a bonus a few steps way from a Starbucks. I was there with my daughter's high school basketball team and there was a great breakfast buffet for the girls. Don't let the low price compared to other places in town fool you, this place is fine.

You can't expect this hotel to be on par with a new build hotel so come with expectation of an older hotel that still provides you with all you need for a great stay. The front desk attendant was really friendly and was able to check me in to my room quickly. The main lobby was clean and it was easy to find the way to my room. I was on the second floor and so just ran up the stairs, it is a fairly narrow and steep staircase. The room (1 King bed with a sofa bed) was very large and clean. The bedding looked old upon first look but it was just the coversheet....the bedding underneath felt soft and clean. The bed had a good mattress and there were several pillows to choose from. Each floor only has 6 rooms and so you don't hear a lot of people in the hallways or elevator noise. The washroom was clean and had lots of towels, toiletries and even a bag of older towels for little cleaning jobs (shoes, your car). The shower can temperature is hot but does fluctuate a bit. Other amenities include a gym, a sauna and free breakfast. The gym includes a set of free weights, a treadmill and a full body workout machine. In order to use the sauna, ask at the front desk for the key. The sauna room has its own shower and sink as well as a sauna that can seat up to 6 people. It takes about 5 minutes to get heated up. The breakfast had a good selection of fruit, breads and hot options. There was also juices and coffees. The breakfast area is in an old restaurant area. For the price, it is a great place to stay. Yes it is older but you get all the benefits of a newer hotel at a lower cost. In the morning, there was plenty of cleaning staff cleaning the common areas (the gym, hallways, entrance area) before heading to the rooms to clean them. Unlike what others wrote it was definitely clean.

This hotel is impossibly billing itself as 3-star on some websites, which boggles the imagination. While the location is nice and staff are friendly, the facilities are dire. One hallway smelled like a yeast infection, the carpet is disgusting, the bathrooms are fancifully obsolete, the ceilings are low and depressing, the lobby is in near-disrepair, and a very average brekkie is served in a room which appears to be half torn apart.

Reserved a king bed room as a "deal" off Wyndham and somehow it got switched to a basic queen bed room when I arrived at the front desk. Never again will I stay at a Ramada!!

I was originally slated to stay in the hotel for ten nights. I left after one. Staff at the front desk wasn't especially friendly nor did she seem all too thrilled with her lot in life. Couldn't offer decent suggestions on where to dine and didn't seem to know where anything was in the city. The room was large but incredibly dated. Linen and towels were well past their serviceable lives and I was quite concerned that in the bathroom, apart from not having ventilation with a fan, was a t-bar ceiling with tiles? The chances of mold accumulation would be high. The tub was not cleaned adequately and I wore sandals when showering. The breakfast offering definitely evoked the phrase: "why bother?" It was pitiful: low quality breakfast meats and flavourless eggs. The dining room itself was in poor condition as was the overall lobby: carpets that clearly were old and decaying, and just general poor repair. I wanted to ask the general manager some questions related to my stay (not to complain) but on other issues. He was neither available when I checked in at 3 p.m. nor was he present at the hotel when I checked out the following morning around 9 a.m. If you're arriving late and leaving early for a simple overnight and need a bed and a shower this place will meet those aims. Beyond that, this hotel just simply isn't competitive even in the budget category.

Rooms were adequate for one night, I wouldn't want to stay any longer. The breakfast was very poor and badly organised but we ate sufficient to keep us going until lunch. Parking was close by and had free wifi.

It was ok I guess. There is no pool if that is important to you. The breakfast was very good and the personnel were very friendly. The room was clean enough. The prices were a bit high for the place but whatever. I would recommend this place.
