Leaving Calgary and heading south towards Fort Macleod - Smashed in Buffalo Jump. So interesting to see and understand how the Napi tribe hunted buffalo like herding them over a cliff. Talk to the native hosts and understand through videos and displays how they orchestrated the hunt. Its a part of history. Travelled east towards Lethbridge Comfort Inn - very nice. On way into city check out the University of Lethbridge built into the hills. Don't forget to see the CN High trestle bridge at 314ft x 1500ft long. Check out Rickys prime rib dinner. Leaving the city heading south towards Writing on Stone Park. Its off the main highway but well worth it. The Coulees and Hoodoos are amazing to see. Great spot for pictures of countryside and harsh water formed structures. There is a place to camp as well. Interactive displays will have you thinking.

Stayed here on the first night of our family vacation. Rooms weren't ready when we arrived at 3:00, but staff rushed to get them ready for us. Bedspread was badly stained and we had to ask housekeeping to replace it (they did). Rooms were very average. Pull out sofa bed was much smaller than we expected - thankful we only had one small child sleeping on it! Breakfast was perhaps less than average compared to other hotels. The pool was nice. I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here again, but it wasn't a horrible experience.

This was a really disappointing experience. We had a reservation and checked in, dropped our bags in the room and immediately went to dinner. When we returned to the room to set ourselves up for the night, we noticed that the bathroom had not been properly cleaned (there was a dirty, used Q-tip sitting right on the bathroom counter in plain sight). We mentioned this to the front desk and they said that the cleaning staff had already gone home, and asked if we'd like to be moved to another room. In the next breath, the clerk said that the hotel was fully booked so they couldn't move us to another room. So why even offer us another room if you can't do it? The clerk said that she'd send the manager to our room to talk to us when he arrived. A few minutes later, the phone in our room rang and it was the manager saying he was coming down to our room. As we picked up the phone, an ant crawled over the phone. We showed the manager the Q-tip and he said that he would get the bathroom re-cleaned. He didn't say how that would happen given that the clerk said the cleaning staff were gone for the day. As for the ant, he simply said, "That came from outside." No kidding. At this point, we had no confidence in the cleanliness of anything else in the room, so we asked for our money back and left. I woke up this morning to see that the room had been charged to our credit card already, so if they don't follow through to reverse their promise to refund our room charge, I will be escalating this to their corporate office and our credit card company to have the charge blocked. Needless to say, we will not be staying here again.

We stayed here over a couple of weekends for my sons baseball tournaments. Rooms were clean. Pool area was clean and hotel staff were very friendly. The first weekend we were here I left behind a pair of shorts that they held onto until we returned the next weekend (that was a very kind thing for them to do) The hotel in general could use an updating throughout to keep up with the local competition as its starting to show its age. Breakfast was okay for a quick bite but nothing fancy for sure.

Spent three nights at this hotel in Lethbridge. Very clean room. Hotel staff very efficient and friendly. Joe in particular was very helpful. Good breakfast with various choices. Handy to many restaurants and attractions. Will definitely stay here again.

On Friday May 19/2017 my husband and I had to come to Lethbridge so he could visit with his dying uncle. it seemed like Lethbridge was pretty full since the hotel we normally stay at was full (not a choice hotel) we decided to give the choice hotels a go, so I went to make the reservation online for the comfort in and I got a message stating "we're sorry, an unexpected error occurred" I thought this was strange cause I stay at a lot of hotels & have never seen this before. So I tried a few more times and I still got the same error message. So finally I gave up and my husband called another choice property hotel to make a reservation. On Saturday May the 20th I was just going through my credit card statement online and noticed that the Comfort inn Charged us 1 night room & tax. I called the comfort inn right away. The front desk staff was just horrible, rude blaming the choice hotel web site telling me I need to deal with them cause they were full & this was a Valid No Show charge. So we phoned the Choice Central reservation number the gentleman we spoke to there on Saturday May the 20th assured us our money would be refunded. 10 days later and they still wont give us back our money. My husband called the General Manager at the Comfort inn & spoke to him on Monday May 29/2017 & he was even worse than the front desk staff was. he was playing the blame game telling us it's a valid charge. I have been working in the Hospitality industry for 10 years, this is not how you treat people. just by the way this one property has treated us has turned our Stomachs on the whole Choice Hotels, we will never stay at one again, we will stick to properties that have integrity & care about their guests. P.S we didn't get any confirmation or anything notifying us that we had a reservation. they didn't even bother to call us when they charged our credit card.

Hotel just off the highway from US border. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast included - waffles, cereals, bagels, toast, eggs, sausage, etc. Comfortable beds. handicap parking was not available.

We stayed here in January 2017 for a cheerleading competition. The room was overall clean, but dated. Our room faced Scenic Dr. but we had little to no noise coming from it. The bathtub had black staining in the bottom of it along with brass taps from the early 90's by the looks of it. Also under the sink there was a place that had been cut out to repair a water line by the looks of it, but the drywall wasn't repaired. The room offered a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. The kids enjoyed the pool. It wasn't overly busy at night even with the teams there. No waterslide just a pool. The kids did mention it was a bit cold, but that could have just been kids being kids as I didn't get in. The morning breakfast was lacking though. The waffles had a very salty taste to them and the bread was dried out. Also because there were 2 full hockey teams also staying here if you weren't in there early you would be out of luck for fruit as the parents pocket it all for later. Seating was alright when we were down at about 7:30am, but by the time we checked out at 8:30am it was full with people standing. The hotel offers free wifi but don't expect much with it though. We were lucky if we could get emails or Facebook to load let alone getting anything from say Netflix. The best internet we had was in the lobby area where we could jump on to the Shawopen network. It didn't matter if you were trying the internet after 11pm or at 5am it was painfully slow. We found it faster to turn off the wifi and just run off of our cell phone data. We complained about it but were told by the staff it is the best they can get. I tried a speed test at 11pm and 5am as was lucky to get 0.15Mbps download speed. Nothing was done about this and no follow up from the manager as promised. Not a big deal as next year when we are there we will look for something a bit more upgraded.

I traveled to Lethbridge with two basketball teams from Calgary. We only stayed for one night and I accidentally forgot my wall adaptor and phone charger in my room. The wall adaptor is the larger Apple adaptor worth about $45. I called and asked for them to mail it back to me and the manager says they don't have it. I told him to speak to the housekeeper who cleaned my room and he said that she says she doesn't have it. So basically the housekeeper stole it and the manager isn't doing anything about it. Enjoy selling my adaptor and charger cord, I hope you do not feel too guilty stealing from a guest who will never use your hotel again.

We found our stay here good for less than $100 a nite with taxes. Our room 101 was large ,clean and inviting. The hotel offered extras such as a pool and excise room, etc. It has a nice large area for a hot breakfast which was included.
