This elegant Holiday Home spread on a large surface area would be a perfect stay for you if you want comfort with luxury. Located in Meyrals Aquitaine, this home comes with 3 bedrooms and would be an ideal stay for families with children.

The Vézère valley is at your feet. You have a splendid view of a wooded and green landscape from this holiday home located in Les Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil (2.5 km). There is a lot to discover in the surroundings. The region is known for the many caves, such as those of Font-de-Gaume (3 km) with world famous prehistoric wall paintings. Les Eyzies bears the marks of its long past. There are two important museums here. The Château de Puymartin (16 km) and for the children the water park near Le Bugue (14 km) will not be missing from the program of your holidays. The tourist sites of Sarlat (21) and Belvès (22) with many medieval curiosities, are nearby. For more caves, those of Lascaux (30 km) are essential.

The house is part of an old farm, and has a shared ping-pong table. It is good to relax on the terrace, or inside, in front of the open fire (there is wood available). The view of the woods from the bedroom is fantastic.

Hugely disappointing family holiday

We rented as a family of four plus a baby and the place was really not suitable. The owners were nice and tried to rectify problems but in short this was the worst vacation rental we’ve stayed at. We arrived to the house and rooms being over 35c inside at ten pm. We decided to set the cot up downstairs as it was marginally cooler and less chance therefore of cot death.. in moving the sofa we found a carpet of mouse poo. My husband and I then had to go to a local hotel to sleep after a five hour drive. On returning to the villa in the morning and complaining the owners were argumentative and stand offish initially although they did make more effort as the week went on to be helpful and were apologetic. We booked the place on the pool and garden which were great but most other elements were disappointing. The place overall was tired and dated, poorly laid out and frankly not the standard we’d expect. We all left a couple of days earlier to get a good nights sleep in a hotel before going home.

Top locatie

Een woning behorende bij die van de eigenaar en nog een woning voor de verhuur. Bovenop een heuvel met schitterend uitzicht. Een heerlijk zwembad om af te koelen. Geen “last” van de eigenaars en andere huurders. Elke ochtend vers brood van de bakker, welke eigenaar is van de woningen. Ook onze viervoeter heeft zich goed vermaakt. Eigenaar heeft ook twee honden die zeer waaks zijn. Interieur van de woning is niet modern. Matrassen mogen worden vervangen. Genoeg ruimte voor een gezin met kinderen of twee stellen.

Lorsque l'on arrive et que l'on voit la maison perchée là haut, on a déjà un coup de coeur et ensuite après l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires, c'est sûr, les vacances seront parfaites. En effet, nous avons passé une semaine magnifique. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine, des ballades en forêt. Depuis la terrasse, nous avons pu observer les cerfs qui sortent de la forêt à la tombée de la nuit et les entendre brâmer. Quel magnifique spectacle. Merveilleuse semaine.

Als je echt tot rust wilt komen......

La Couze is een geweldige plek midden in een bosrijke omgeving. Het uitzicht is fenomenaal! Als je houdt van rust, natuur en wandelen dan is dit the place to be! Huis is compleet ingericht, van alle gemakken voorzien. Vriendelijke eigenaren die elke ochtend, indien gewenst, verse broodjes aan de deur kunnen bezorgen. Kortom een vakantie die je niet snel zult vergeten. Wij hebben in iedergeval genoten!
