Booked and call the hotel was rudely told that check in was not until 3pm. Waited until after 3pm and took a $50 cab ride to rest with my sick girl friend and we were refused service. This review is only based on service and location. No service, they would not even call me a cab. The location is in a unsafe side of town and why they call it a penthouse I have no idea. I was glad I did not stay there. It is a house in a residential area with homeless and drug addicts roaming around in the area. Was told I would get a refund and to date 5 days later no refund.
An old house poorly adapted to attempt to make money. 2" gaps under the paper-thin door and kitchen next door means LOUD and smelly in the room. You don't actually meet owners but they creep around and spy on you (2 unsmiling guys waiting in a SUV upon my arrival, didn't introduce themselves but drove up blocking me in while I was was struggling with GPS as I was looking for an actual hotel not an unmarked home, wondering if I was about to get robbed.) Jerk sweeping the floor for 2 hours outside the door is a nasty way to push you to check out. Endless noise. Little rest to be had, awful neighborhood to be on foot, nothing but a 7-11 for miles... You are gonna need earplugs and sleeping pills to get any rest at this joint. I would rather sleep in my car.
This is really just a converted and partitioned house. Parking is limited and rooms are very basic. Manager was nice and welcoming. Couple of issues: - Loud Air conditioning - Tight parking. - No WiFi provided.
I stayed at The Yellow Penthouse in Las Vegas, Nevada from Monday, April 30 - Friday, May 4, 2018. I had read the positive reviews before I arrived but still wasn't really sure about a place like this and what to expect. When I arrived, I was met by Josh. He was very nice and gave me a tour of the apartment. He showed me my room and right off the bat I was pleasantly surprised. My room was clean, quite large, had a wall mounted TV and a huge closet! The bathroom was just down the hallway from my bedroom and it was spotless. Arturo cleaned the bathroom thoroughly every day I was there. The kitchen and living room were spotless as well. Tis place is awesome. I felt safe and knowing Josh and Arturo lived across the street and basically helped me with whatever I needed at a moment's notice was comforting since I was traveling alone. It was quiet there and I barely saw my neighbors/other guests that stayed there at the same time. Everyone was respectful of each other which was an extra plus. I really did not want to leave my new little home away from home. I'm happy that I now have a great place to stay when I go back to town. Again, everything was spotless. This was important to me because I'm a little OCD. They work hard at making The Yellow penthouse clean and memorable for their guests. When I was there, Josh and Arturo were upgrading another room. They are constantly making this place better! Can't wait to come back! They're super nice guys and made me feel very welcome. Thanks again Josh and Arturo! Till next time!
My family and I couldn't be anymore grateful for Josue and Art!!! Between the decent pricing & amazingly clean property, we have been spending LOTS of time here lately and that should say something. Most importantly, my husband and I feel safe staying here with our baby girl AJ. (5 y/o) & she actually is quite fond of Josue too! Definitely a family friendly environment.
I just want to let everyone know how clean and awesome the owners are very respectful,the place is very well kept very clean. They clean the bathrooms common areas everyday they treated myself my wife and daughter very good I've stayed here a few times and will definitely be coming back and recommend this place to friend and family
I have stayed maybe at 100 hotels . And there was my worst experience so far. I made reservation in October in December I was notified in email that my reservation was canceled because my credit was declined. Right away I verified with my credit card company that no charge was even attempted to be put through let a lone be declined. I called to booking.com where I made a reservation and next day man from this hotel called me i gave him Credit card information and he charged money from me, and I received an email confirmation that 50$ was charged and I was notified that my reservation is back on by both booking.com and the hotel over the phone. The day when I landed in vegas I tried checking in online only to find out that they don't have any reservations and they fully booked for today. And than when we ended up found that they charged 50$ from me they told me if I want to stay I have to pay 200$. And I had to spend hours on the phone with booking.com at 10 pm to find a place where I could stay that night.
