Eastside Cannery Casino & Hotel

Loved our stay at the Eastside Cannery. The name was a little deceiving, but we were extremely happy with our room (corner suite with large tub and bath). I liked that the hotel was newer with nice amenities and lots of space. The bathroom was large complete with a sunken tub. The food in Snaps Cafe' was delicious as well! The room was very quiet, and we were able to rest and take our time in the morning with the 12:00 check out time. We are definitely new fans of this hotel casino and will be back!

The room was clean and the staff was great. At checked in I was greeted by Ari. She was such a delight. She made check in fast and simple. She had wonderful welcoming attitude. I asked for a non-smoking room and was given one. Upon going into the room, it was noticible just how clean and we'll kept the room was. The only downside is that the walls are thin and we could hear our neighbors. Aside from that, all else was wonderful.

It’s like having a honeymoon every time I come here with my girlfriend. We Select a room with a Jacuzzi and it’s heaven. Most the time we get the scenic room that has windows on both sides which makes it magical. You guys are awesome!

I stayed here alone in mid week. Price on Orbiz made it worth the trip to East Boulder Hwy. area.

On check in the clerk upgraded us to a King bed and was very pleasent. The food was not the best but was hot. The locals who were snowbirds, like the casino and said they had been coming there for years.

The only negative is it wasn't near the strip but it also was a plus

last minute decision to stay in a vegas hotel. I found this one close to the place where my good friends anniversary part was been held. It was affordable and it looked nice from the pics. When I checked in, the front desk was fast and nice. The room was very clean, roomy, and nice.

The room itself was spacious, well maintained and appointed, reasonably clean and had a nice soaking tub that I enjoyed. The casino was small and the slots were tight. The problem was the staff. The dining room hostess Saturday 11/18 made me wait 20 minutes just to get on the waiting list then demanded I write it on her pad of paper myself, nasty attitude. My waiter informed me that I was ok with water and walked away before I could order a drink and also decided I didn't need dessert. My meal took 90 minutes to arrive and was barely warm. Security came and demanded to search my room because my do not disturb was up for 2 days - it's Vegas, people stay up and sleep during the day and it's rude to wake them up. And no you can't search my room. When I complained to the front desk, they never apologized but the manager called the next day. And woke me up again. Then when I checked out on Tuesday 11/22 the cranky woman at the desk called me Eric, umm if you'd make eye contact I'm a girl. Although it's a nice enough hotel, the people ruined it for me. They were unhappy and rude and made sure to try and make their guests as miserable as they were.

My sisters and I were taking a trip to the Grand Canyon, and flew into Vegas pretty late. We were planning to head out early the next morning. This hotel was away from all the hubbub of the strip, but did offer Vegas amenities if we decided to partake! The staff were very friendly, and the room was clean! It appears to be a bit of an older hotel, but well-maintained and comfortable. I would stay here again.

4th time staying at cannery. Always a great stay. Little disappointed they charge a resort fee now but everything else is great. Rooms big and clean clean. Parking and check in/out was a breeze. Will always stay here again.

Quite location and not very busy, but offered every thing could need

Stayed here 3 times previously...always found it be good value...has gone severely downhill...horrible front desk....lousy housekeeping (soap dispenser was empty last 3 days there---didn't really care--their soap is horrible quality--no lather--funky smell)......not a fun atmosphere in casino...no longer have a buffet......started charging a resort fee for their non-existent amenities (mediocre pool...fitness center with what appear to be 3 antique machines). This place is no longer a good value...stay away...there are much better values than this property.

It was a lot nicer than I expected considering what I paid. I have paid more than double per night what I did for rooms that had holes in the wall and bugs in the floor. I was amazed at how awesome it was. My only complaint is the pillows; they are so big when you lay on them you aren't looking at the ceiling but the wall in front of you. My husband and I both woke up with terribly sore necks and a bad headache.

Beds are so-so, pillows thin. Do in-room coffee. Coffee is available in the fitness center (2 treadmills and 1 elliptical) but not until 8:00.

The room was very nice and clean, bath tub was big enough for 2 and the window was the size of the wall with a view of the city. The staff was very welcoming and nice to talk to. The pool area was beautiful and clean. When Boyd took over they removed the buffet and put in a restaurant that has a variety of foods to choose from. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

For a hotel that is under 10 years old, it felt like staying in an old, out-of-date hotel that tried unsuccessfully to do a remodel. The bathroom sink faucet leaked, the tub made creaks and cracking sounds as I stood in it for a shower and made me feel like I would fall through at any moment. The tub faucet also leaked and would never fully switch over to the shower head so the water pressure was low as the water continued to spew out the faucet. We were only given two bath towels even though the room was booked for 4 people and there was no extra bedding provided in the room, so my wife froze all night because there was not an extra blanket. Speaking of the bedding, it looked like we checked into a cheap motel. Even though we got an affordable rate, we will never stay here again or recommend this hotel.

It was very accesible, and good parking, that only think I didn't liked, just I got one towel and we were two person.

Very clean - nice view - 6 miles from the strip - even number rooms face the strip - beautiful view - away from the strip but nice and quiet - perfect if you have a rental car - close to the strip is where the homeless sleep and stay - just like any city they congregate where the tourists will be to panhandle. Hotel is also a casino and they have several items under $10 for lunch or dinner in either of the 2 restaurants in the casino. The casino across the street has the famous $4.99 ham steak and eggs available 24 hours a day which tastes like it is grilled - very good - The cannery also have the same but for $5.99 - walmart is within walking distance to the hotel/casino.

Our room was very clean. Check in at the front desk was quick and staff was friendly. I called housekeeping for extra towels and they were there within minutes. The huge bathtub was so relaxing. We ate at Snaps Restaurant inside the hotel and the food was delicious. My kids loved the unique shape of the building and the way it was lit up at night. They have an express checkout option you can use through the tv that made our departure quick and easy as well. I read other reviews that complained about the smoke smell. The smoke smell is bad in the casino, but is to be expected as people are smoking! Once you get to your room everything smells fresh and clean. The only complaint I would have is that 8:00 is a little early for the pool to close. Also, we wanted to do late checkout on Sunday due to having a late flight and they do not offer late checkout on Sundays.Overall we had a very nice stay and would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Check-in ----- 5* It's a breeze, thanks to Orlando, the check-in clerk. Room ----- 5* We stayed on 12th floor. Room is quite large and is very clean and comfortable. Good LV strip view facing north. Good value for room. Resort fee of about $8/night as of 7/17/17 which includes hi-speed wi-fi. Has small refrigerator but no microwave or coffee machine. Self-parking is free. Did not try restaurants or casino. There is reasonably priced Firelight buffet next door at Sam's Town. About 20 minutes drive to LV strip. Tip: Get a B-connected card for $3 discounts at Firelight buffet.
