The hotel very dirty, smelly horrible, very old facilities

We booked 2 handicap rooms but at check in we were told handicap rooms aren't reserved, they are given upon availability. So my handicap companions were not able to shower that night and I had to drive them to a nearby Kmart so they can use the bathrooms since Ameriksuites restrooms weren't equipped. (due to not being handicap rooms). We did stay the night since Ameriksuites has a policy to pay up front, and would not refund us even though we didnt get the handicap rooms we paid for. The entire place is literally filthy. One of our rooms ended up having blood on the sheets and bed bugs on both beds. The TV remote didn't work, and one of the room's A/C was on the fritz. The stainless steel on the elevator needed cleaning, the entrance of the hotel needs to be power washed the dust along the lattice frame of the elevator needs to be cleaned and this is just little things that I'm mentioning here. On one of our bathroom outing to kmart we literally purchased lysol spray, pillows and towels, since they were cheaper than buying sheets so we could cover with back at the hotel, and Clorox wipes too so we could try to clean up because the maid service was horrible. Hair on the floor, counters and in the bathtub, it was just so gross!!! Hotel is pet friendly but no dedicated area is available for potty needs. I literally fell outside having to go to an uneven nearby curb in the dark of night.

Stayed two nights here each night either I was missing a tv control or towells, no big deal. What I did't like was the fact they took forever to check in and the room wasn't properly cleaned.

Pros: It was nice and clean. Very close to the main mall (Mall del Norte). Our room had a king bed and a sofas bed. Hot breakfast was decent, waffles, muffins, milk, and things like that, but no eggs. Cons: Our room didn't have towels, we had to request them and it took them over an hour to bring them. I couldn't get any hot water, it was lukewarm at best.

I like the hotel because it is near Mall del Norte and it is in a quiet área, so I could sleep very well. Thank you

nice place to stay in staff are very welcoming room very comfortable and clean very close to mall and resturants

The location is the best part of this hotel. The room and bathroom were clean, though the sofa bed had stains that made it unattractive to use. The breakfast was simple but good enough to start the day. The hotel provides a shuttle service to the mall del Norte though it's at a walking distance. I would book this hotel again.

nice hotel to stay in but no microwave in the room!

It's conveniently located near Mall del Norte, half a block away from Calle del Norte. When we arrived, we were met by a very friendly front desk girl, who check us in promptly. The hotel itself is of the utility type, but its sparkling clean. The rooms are very ample, ours had a king size bed, and a sofa/bed. The bathroom is good sized, but the tub is quite shallow. Soap and shampoo are generic, so you better bring your preferred ones. As it seems is the norm in this hotel, the small fridge wasn't working, and the coffee maker didn't have the glass jar to brew coffee. Rooms are quiet since the hotel is far from highways and streets. Particularly, we liked the matress, I have a back problem, and I sleept to my content. We didn't take the free breakfast, but it seemed sufficient enough. On the lobby they have a certain amount of the daily "Laredo Times". Overal, it was Ok for spending the night. For the price, it was ok for one night.

It was good overall jus breakfast hours are to short. But in general good

From the outside the hotel looks Ok. Inside the lobby was dingy, the lobby rest room was so filthy I let the deal know. I also ask that I get a clean room and was asked to look at it before, the room was dingy, I did notice that rhe sheets were clean, but aside from that; the closet was yucky that I left mist of my clothes in my car; there was cloth furniture, but I was afraid to use it. The area where the little fridge should be was empty and the cabinete was filthy, weak and needed reprinting. Worst place Ive stay in my adult life.

Was only there a few hours i Would Stay there again Breakfast hours aré too shiort. 9 Am

Great night! Goods service and great breakfast. Good location, rooms were clean and in well condition

Great Stay! Location was great! Great customer service

id ok for one night. si close to the mall. nice staff.

BUENA OPCION PARA LAS COMPRAS, A UN PASO DEL MALL DEL NORTE

We live and own a hotel in San Miguel de Allende. It is necessary to make frequent trips to Laredo Tx. for major U.S. shopping and banking trips. This hotel is perfect. Next door to the major mall and all of the stores and banks. Best gym in Laredo 15 minutes away. Very safe parking lot as we carry very valuable cargo back down to Mexico. Pet friendly as I always travel with my pet. The best staff and a great full breakfast included served early until 10. New hotel and hot pool after shopping and driving. Very happy also as movies, restaurants etc. Close by and easy access off the freeway.

It seemed the staff did not care to correct issues for our convenience and comfort. There was a lot of minor maintenance needed on the rooms and no one seemed motivated to attend to these.

Travelers, please DO NOT stay at this hotel, you will be extremely disappointed and in the case of our family’s trip to bury our mother, it added to the stress of our trip. I’ve since found several negative reviews online. The “manager” of this facility posts his standard reply stating his commitment to quality however those are empty words. I see there is no corporate Ameriksuites office to send my complaints to, so I will be posting this on as many travel review sites that I can find so that hopefully I can save some of you from making our mistake.

Mingo, we apologize the inconvenience of your room. I will address this issue with our cleaning staff. Also, let us know what issue was that caused the delay in your check-in.
