Not the best of locations in Lanzarote, and with limited parking just outside the hotel, nevertheless everything else about Aparthotel I union was excellent - the room, the meals, the grounds, and the friendliness of the staff. We would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was very spacious and in close proximity to the pool and restaurant. They said cleaning was every other day but it was cleaned more often than that. There were some ants but that it to be expected being on the ground floor. We ate out every day but the apartment was fully equipped for self catering. Only downside about the apartment was the noise from upstairs was horrendous; sounded like furniture being dragged around and banging, could hear every thud/step. This went on until about 2am and started again at 6am. Try to get a first floor apartment or villa to avoid this. Breakfast had good options: cooked breakfast, fruits and pastries/pancakes, juices and hot drinks. 10 minute walk in either direction to get to the beach, restaurants, bars and supermarkets. Pool was a bit cold but refreshing in the sizzling heat. Parasols are limited and in fixed positions so be aware of this if you are prone to sunburn! Towels for the pool are available on request. There is a beach bar next to the pool that does drinks and hot and cold food. Games such as bingo and aqua basketball are on everyday apart from Thursdays. Taxi from airport to hotel was about 10 minutes and costed €14. All in all a really nice stay, very chilled and would stay again if I could choose to have no upstairs neighbours.

We had a very lovely second stay at this hotel. The apartment's were well appointed and spotlessly clean Lovely comfortable beds and nice new towels. You can get pool side towels at the hotel with a slip ( no deposit) just a signature. Food was overall good and there was all the usual choices for breakfast. The choices were much the same each day with the variety of pastries being the main difference. The pool was clean and well kept as were the grounds. The mini supermarket on site was brilliant with all the essentials. Would definitely come here again and highly recommend

I usually stay at a hotel down the road a wee bit but it was fully booked. So i went for this place as it was recommended by a friend. Didn't disappoint, i had a wonderful time. Everything was clean, staff were super helpful and friendly. I'll definitely be back

WE emailed when booking as my wife was a wheel chair user they offered an up grade when we arrived but kept the room we booked our fault we should have followed up our email. The staff where very nice. Breakfast something for every one.

First time at the Ilunion Costa Sal and we were not let down. The hotel is excellent, clean and well maintained. The room was clean and functional for our stay. We found the food to be excellent with a good choice for both breakfast and evening meal. The hotel team are great and couldn’t do enough for us. Well located in Matagorda with a great range of cafe’s, bars and restaurants within a ten minute walk. There are a couple of supermarkets close by and a small shop on site. The pool area is immaculate and never too busy, with no subbed hogging. The hotel is ten minutes from the airport and about 30 minutes walk from Puerto del Carmen. A great hotel, in an excellent location. We will definitely be back.
