The location of the hotel is perfect for the beach and bars and shops,The food is very restricted and if your fussy its not the place to be.The rooms are in need of maintenance but they are clean and if you have a problem they will sort it very quickly. This place is only 2 star and i think people need to remember this when they book its perfect to use as a base on holiday the pools are lovely the staff very nice and i look forward to staying again i just hope they get round to updating rooms as it would make such a big difference.
Me and my boyfriend have just returned from the Blue Sea beach, we chose this one since I went to the Blue Sea gardens in decemeber and really liked that hotel. This hotel is not too bad, the pool area and the rooms were lovely, I can't fault the rooms, they were clean and we were given a bigish room overlooking the pool. The food was awful, I can't eat garlic due to IBS, and most of the food was covered in garlic which was a real shame. Breakfast was good, and I had no problems with that however by the end of the week we just went out for food instead and enjoyed it a lot more. That being said for those who don't have to watch what they eat and aren't too fussy its not bad at all. The bar staff were wonderful, there was a man who laughed everytime I spoke, which always made me giggle and the lady behind the bar always greeted us with a smile and had a laugh with everyone. The only downfall was that the bar closed at 10, which I thought was ridiculous to say it was all inclusive, but again we just went out if we wanted more drinks after this time. Unfortunately theres wasn't much entertainment the whole time we were there, which wasn't an issue for us as we went out a lot but for those who like to stay on site during the evenings there wasn't much to do and you had to purchase a TV pass. The reception staff were wonderful, one lady in particular (she always had her hair up) was lovely and always asked how we were, it was a shame we didn't get to thank her before we went home. Location wise, we could not have asked for a better place to be, the hotel had direct access to my favourite beach and it was super close to all the shops and resturants. Our biggest problem was probably the fact they had a spanish gymnastics team staying who woke everyone up really early in the morning running up and down the corridors screaming and knocking on our door. This hotel has its faults but for the price its really good value for money. I probably wouldn't stay here again, just because I normally stay up at the barcelo but if need be I wouldn't say no.
My husband and I have just left the Blue Sea Costa Teguise Beach this morning and it was certainly with heavy hearts. A fab hotel, with a fantastic location. The food was a little repetitive, but still lovely though. The staff were friendly and helpful, but a special mention must go to Dylan, who actually got me in the pool for aqua gym! He's an absolute credit to the company, and took our stay from a 3 star review to a 5 star.
Very helpful receptionists, great tips and guide on where to find your desired location. Stayed from 25-29th May with 3 friends (2 per room). Rooms were fine for the price we paid, great to have a balcony! There are some good shops and restaurants just a stones throw away. The view of the beach from the pool is fantastic. It's a good thing we go the all inclusive package (the sangria on tap was just perfect) a variety of different food each day. Bartenders were very friendly. Used the Free Wifi at the reception, it did the job. Just don't forget your sunscreen! As I got burnt bad due to forgetting to applying it in the first day. Great hotel if your on a low budget
I spent a few days here with a hen party . The hotel has a wonderful view and a great location . The bar staff work incredibly hard and in general there seems to be very few staff around . The food is petty terrible some of it inedible . To be honest we were treated pretty bad as a group . The place was dead and a well a booking of 17 girls will bring some life to the place . Our room flooded after s heavy rain fall and after 24 hours the situation had still not been sorted . The rooms are clean and we had a nice wee patio I would not go back here based on the way we were treated and the quality of the food
My Visit 1st June Till 8th. honestly just go somewhere else i wish i had, firstly the rooms... dindgy, dirty run down and covered in ants. the kitchen work top had been painted white rimmed with lovely black marks. the kitchen bar stools were filthy i went a bought my own multi cleaner and took matters into my own hands. the small bathtub was yellow cracked and honestly something out of a horror movie. and before the staff write back asking why i didnt request a move. i was at reception where another customer was complaining, i seen how that went and you did not care about how that lady was feeling at all. i didnt see that lady for the remainder of our trip so i wouldnt be surprised if she found another hotel. the food is a preference thing i didnt like it and spent most of the week eating fish and rice. by tuesday i was ill with the thought of it. food is repetitive. the breakfast was the only passable meal. but you can not be served fizzy juice at breakfast which is insane. there is no snacks through out the day. a glass box with rock hard pastries. i witnessed someone being stopped with a banana because you can not take food out the restaurant we asked for some fruit for the beach and were told NO. no bottled water on all inclusive which ive never heard of. all inclusive bar closes at 10 then you have to pay. chill out area is for germans who complain if you are in that are. bar staff are friendly especially the blonde one she was lovely. sandra was nice on reception also. we didnt bring any problems to the staff due to witnessing how it went for others so to say they are helpful with a big problem would maybe be an over stretch. the pool areas are nice, thats about it. we met some lovely people and that was our saving grace. we had our 6 year old with us. there was no kids entertainment. there was only one other child. there was no adult entertainment it was boring and effortless from staff. they just want your money... kettle iron, hairdryer, washing token was 4 euro clothes werre still dirty. wifi cost 20 euro and can only connect 1 device if it decides to work. TV costs 8 euro per 2 days which jumps constantly you have to buy your own bottled water from vending machines which is a euro for standard bottle. and on departure you have lola screaming at you for not checking out properly and demanding 20 euro lol. there are better hotels guys do yourselves a favour and book another one this hotel doesnt deserve 1 star simple changes like a bbq bit. putting the pool tables somwhere that the wind isnt going to ruin the game that youre paying a euro for. some entertainment that is not snooker.or stretching an outside dining bit. and for god sakes put a floor brush in those rooms. i can live in the most basic places and create my own fun. but i paid 1600 for this holiday and i can honestly say you robbed me blind. thank you for that. accept responsibility for the mess you are puttting your hotel in. it had the potential to be great. and all you care for is being fully booked. heard it myself
Costa teguise blueseashotel..... I have read the reviews on the Internet about this hotel and in my opinion ... Hotel staff are excellent the food is OK...I have read the bad reviews of this place and I think there are some awkward people out there... Hotel rooms are clean... they could do with some painting on the outside of the buildings ...but I guess it's an ongoing project.... In my experience I have been in the hotel and catering for over 20 years and I'm a fussy person but I really can't complain... In all honesty I've been dying to get in the kitchen to show the chefs a little more variety... Breakfast time u get a full English breakfast I would give them 10 out of 10.. Lunch 9 out of 10 could do with a little more salt on chicken in my opinion... Evening meal 8 out of 10... Pool bar brilliant and both pools are exceptionally clean... In my overall opinion this hotel is well worth a visit.... A little windy tho.... Special mentions to yai / genesis and all the staff members and especially the reception area... Thanks Anthony baron Room 301
I'm writing this review whilst staying at Blue Sea Costa Teguise Beach. I planned this trip to this hotel for my partners 50th for a week as a surprise, and to be honest we cannot fault any thing at all, the food is nice, always something to eat, we came all inclusive, the drink selection in all inclusive also includes alcoholic cocktails, the sangria is a must, we upgraded to a sea facing view room on arrival. The staff are ever so friendly, very polite. Having reading some of the reviews I ask myself were they staying at the same hotel. We are already looking at booking for January 2018.
We booked last minute for a three night break but we're not sure what to expect as reviews were so varied. The apartments are being renovated so think depends on which one you get, we upgraded to a poolside apartment for an extra 10 euro per day and was well worth It. apartment was comfortable and clean. We stayed all inclusive, breakfast and lunch were good, but dinner was lacking. If we comeback we would stay bed and breakfast as there are so many wonderful places to eat nearby at reasonable prices. The location is brilliant with the sea just outside of the complex. Over all pleasantly suprised and would definitely come back. The nearby square has a wonderful atmosphere. For the cost of the apartment could not fault.
We went b&b.The breakfast was ok,the rooms are clean, but we didnt have a kettle ,took us ages to boil water in a saucepan. We had to ask for clean towels. The tv costs 19 euros for a week, and the safe is 30 euros, but u have 10 back. The place looks lovely in the photos, but to our disappointment we werent allowed to go there as they had a lock that only all inclusive could use. Also if u do decide to go all inclusive then the bar closes at 10.All in all we would never go again.
