Upon check-in, front desk could not find our reservation. Upgraded us to a jacuzzi suite. Everything about the hotel was dirty, although the elevator was clean. Was accompanied to the room with night clerk who was pretty sure our key wouldnt work it didnt so he had to let us in. Sheets were paper thin and wrinkled, leaving us to wonder if they were clean. We slept in our clothes. Next night, same thing. Had to be let in by night person cuz our key did not work. Room was not refreshed bed still unmade and bathroom not cleaned (although there was a new shower head and shower curtain!), but new towels and a roll of TP were placed on the chair. Young couple from the front desk came to our room to apologize for our displeasure (after saying what do you expect for $50), were horrified to see our room was never made up by housekeeping. Brought a clean blanket on my request. And that jacuzzi---Yea, couldnt catch me sitting in it! Unfortunate stay on a soldout homecoming weekend at MSU.

This hotel is no way represented on the Internet. It is a pay by the week hotel. Stacks of old mattresses in the lobby and bottom floor. Plywood in the windows. The bums hanging out in front, smoking and drink drinking kept us from even going inside. We booked another hotel while sitting in the parking lot. I took pictures of the hotel. The pool is fenced off and posted with keep out signs. I would like my money back.

We booked within a short timeframe from my cell and did not have much time to look at details. But this is certainly an good example of motel - nothing is really jumping out as horrible but cetainly nothing worth recommending. We ended up leaving and stay at another decent chain hotels.

The service there is great, the staff at the front desk was helpful and friendly.

A perfect place if you enjoy the comforts of filth, stench, mold, peeling wallpaper, a shower that should be demolished and an occassional cockroach. The best value was no hot water! So if this is your desire please book away. On the bright side, the staff is eager to please and assist in any manner with many apologies for the hotel conditions. Anyone who can work in that environment with a smile deserves a medal of honor...SHOULD BE CONDEMNED!!!

The carpet had not been vacuumed. The sink had hair in and around it. The bed spread had a broken potato chip and hair on it.

Well, if you are looking for a great place shooting thriller movie, this is a good choice! The hotel is located in middle of nowhere with extremely hard to find signs (BTW, if you are looking for Magnuson, you will never find it - look for something as DAD's INN). The hotel should definitely be grouped as a 60' motel with dirty environment and almost no service at all. Internet is not in existence!!! The front desk is honestly helpless and inflexible........needless to say they rip off all your money 24 hours before hand so that if you regret as we did, you still pay the full amount with cancellation. My suggestion is that if you really want the torture, try book day by day in separate reservation so that you will have chance to cancel the rest of days (which for sure will happen).
