Due to another occupant, the hotel had to evacuate at 6 am in Michigan winter. When I asked if we would be discounted for being forced awake due to someone else’s stupidity, I was told they were offering points, and even if they were offering money, they wouldn’t be able to refund me because I booked through hotels.com. Although my 2 year old enjoyed seeing a fire truck early in the morning, I did not, and I am not happy with the solution that was offered.
