As soon as you arrive, the owners come to your car to help you. They help with the luggage, and drive your car to the safety of the hotel car park. Amazing service for disabled and the family room still had room for my wheelchair to fit in without issue. The room was clean, with deep, quality carpet and soft mattresses. It is very close to the front, but not too close. 10 minutes in an electric wheelchair. The breakfast was delicious, and plenty of wonderful staff to help you. Ellie, Sarah and Charlotte were so polite and they made a wonderful start to the day. Little did we know the same ladies on duty also did the rooms afterwards!! Quite a few couples with disabilities told me many had been to Darren and Amanda's hotel on the previous years and came back due to the care and respect given by all the staff. Yes, there are always little tweaks here and there in even Six Star Hotels. My main point is, this hotel is providing comfort, reassurance and quality breakfast for a good price in a very good location. Investment is taking place by the quality of the rooms, and customer service is amongst the best I have encountered. I will be returning with my family, and I am saving starting from tomorrow! Thank you all at the Lawton. 👍
was booked at this hotel sunday 13th august to monday 14th august whilst watching blackpool airshow, we left the hotel at 10.50pm due to the noise. children are allowed to run around the landings up and down stairs slam doors and scream and shout until 11pm which is when they say they start their corridor checks, it was by far the worst hotel ive ever stayed in for noise and ignorance of it as well, if you would like to sleep, do not stay here, i have just got off the phone to the hotel manager who told me she was in the hotel lounge last night at 9pm and witnessed nothing of which ive mentioned, so basically calling me a liar, i will be taking this up with the hotel owners next room and breakfast paid for refund refused, 3 hours spent in faulty towers

I booked through booking.com, and the room I was given was almost a 3rd world equivalent, mouldy, smelled of mould, and loads of damaged parts everywhere. I ignored the trip advisor reviews, but never again. 1 good thing breakfast and kitchen staff.
Hotel was clean and tidy upon arrival and staff seemed quite nice. Housekeeping was poor , bins not emptied, milk or tea bags not refilled ect. Overall maintenance of the hotel was rubbish I.E. kettle was dodgy, windows did not open or close properly, toilet seat wobbled, its was like everything was brought in the pound shop! The food was really good some day and other days it was the pits , for example I had a fried egg welded to my plate, clearly been left there for hours and tasted like rubber. If your disabled in any way don't pick this hotel the bath tubs are too high, I could not climb in it let alone get out of it. I found it really difficult to adjust to spending at week in this hotel. My partner asked for a fan for the room cause he has hypertension and they did not have any, had to drive to Argos to buy one. I had such a good time (not) that I left a day early, that's £100 I'll never get back. I will say the wifi is decent, so if your kids want to take PlayStation or amazon fire stick to watch Netflix the wifi will be ok, take a double plug adapter with you tho as there is only one plug on the wall with the TV.
Booked a family room for myself, partner and three year old son. Cannot be more happy with the fabulously friendly, helpful and efficient staff. They helped us park, showed us our room, made a fuss of the little one as soon as we got there. Breakfast is scrupulous. I must say, having read some of the reviews just before we left, I arrived with trepidation. I was pleasantly surprised that what I found reflected earlier and more positive reviews. Great for families and couples. BUT, if you're the sort of person who enjoys going somewhere to find fault or imagine you're on Four In A Bed, then please stay away and let us normal holidaymakers enjoy a great stay. Thanks Lawton for a great stay.
We got very excellent deal for this hotel and wasn't sure what to expect having read mixed reviews! I have to say what a brilliant hotel. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was clean and cleaned each day. But is a problem the lift bit fall down and leveling affect. Might this elevator fixtures problem??? I take stairs instead to fits. Breakfast was fantastic fresh foods and fruits. Would be great if the fine evening meals with such a lovely fresh dinning room!!! Drink a tea were reasonably priced and we enjoyed some chill time in the bar area whilst my girlfriend Sherely Cockfosters got logged on to wifi lol! Close to the Tower and City centre. Will 100% be back in next year August! So I cannot stop dream about this hotel experiecne place is... What a expect of!!! Fantastic this is The Lawton Hotel is the best!!!!

Found the reception area and bar area ok although reception is on actual bar. You park in a location away from the hotel and a member of staff comes into your car to take you there. One staircase in hall to go upstairs is a bit grubby and old looking. Stayed in a number of hotels in Blackpool. Similarly priced rooms have been far superior. Room was very small for a family room with a very small bathroom. Toilet really close to shower. Broken toilet seat. Toilet seat and lid were covered in green toilet cleaner splashes which we had to clean off ourselves before it could be used. Round bottom of shower inside and more so outside was covered in dirty marks and hairs. Bath towels are tiny so would suggest you take your own. Ceiling tiles were brown and marked. Sticky spots on bathroom flooring, Otherwise carpet in bedroom was clean as were beds. The biggest let down had to be the breakfast though. Advertised as full English breakfast. What we got was a small breakfast plate, enough for a child. I asked for just sausages, bacon and beans on my 2nd morning. Got one single sausage, one slice of burned bacon and a spoonful of beans. Asked for just sausages for my son. He got one!!!! In view of this, the huge tip box left wasn't filled by us. Definitely wont be going back. We'll stick to the other hotels we've stayed at before where you get better value for your money.
Friendly staff could not do enough to help you.Breakfast was very good. The only issue I had was noise due to some of the idiots you meet in life everywhere this is beyond their control but was dealt with quickly.Value for money.
