Our experience with Suites Antonio's was wonderful. The staff really want to make your experience the best it can be. We stayed in a larger suite, and we would recommend this style of unit for the extra space. They had bottled water, and a couple soda choices that you could purchase there at very reasonable prices. The breakfast had fresh fruit, bread, meat and cheese, and freshly made eggs if you preferred. The Wi-Fi was strong, and we were able to complete our work tasks, as well as access various websites. Staff assisted us with directions for an ATM, restaurants, markets, etc. The staff arranged two tours for us, and they were handled very well. We knew where we were to be when, and the price was excellent. We had a small problem with hot water one of the days, but the staff quickly found the problem and corrected it. They arranged our airport transportation for when we departed. When the shuttle came a few minutes early, they helped us carry our bags down the steps. All of the staff were very accommodating, but Jimena was especially helpful. She made sure all of our laundry was taken care of (reasonably priced), she offered us an umbrella to take with us the day it was raining off and on, and she even helped me with my postcards to make sure they were mailed. Her bright smile was a warm welcome whenever we passed the desk. Thank you to Suites Antonio's and their staff for making our stay memorable.
It was a great expérience, the personel is really helpful and nice. Breakfast is delicious at the hotel. The trips to Uros Island and Taquile Island were a great discovery. Would advice it to anyone here!
1. Internet in the room! 2. Super friendly staff, all! 3. 2 blocks from everything Tons of parades, lucky me! 4. Breakfast is worth the entire cost. 5. Tons of fruits, bread, coffee, fresh juice, they even cook you an egg your way! 6. Coffee and tea always on tap. 7. Cozy fireplace. 8. Super clean! 9. Great tours on offer, and I usually don't praise tours. SEE SIILUSTANI! 10. HOT WATER! WANTED TO STAY LONGER!
We stayed here before and after our Lake Titicaca trip. We had the “suite” and a family room. One could have stayed with 4 people in the suite (it had 4 beds), but it is more comfortable to have two rooms. Most of the reviews on this hotel are correct. I have rated it higher than some others, as we have probably stayed in some more basic hotels in Peru! There is indeed no heating in the rooms, but the blankets are more than sufficient to keep you warm at night. There is a storage facility for your luggage, which is great if you are staying overnight on Lake Titicaca (I can really recommend the homestay!!). Breakfast is ok (I had some nice coffee elsewhere before breakfast). The receptionist(s) are very helpful. Their English is good. There is more available if you ask for it (hair dryers, laundry, taxi service to airport). Hot water is a hit and miss. I was lucky, but the other room had no hot warm water on the second night. Location is safe, central and convenient. Only 10 soles with taxi from train station to hotel and takes less than 10 minutes.
Suites Antonio is well located in Puno. The hotel room was spacious, very clean and the bed very comfy. There was a good amount of amenties like free hot coffee/coca tea at every floor, but also free usage of their laptop, internet and printer. Breakfast was a buffet in good portions, just the coffee could be better. Staff was helpful
The front desk was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The location was convenient for things to do and the lake (main attraction). I would have just wished there was an elevator as the altitude already made it hard to climb stairs so being on the third floor was hard.
Clean, affordable, central, the wonderful ladies at the front desk were unfailingly patient and helpful, drawing maps, calling the train station for me. A plentiful buffet breakfast. But for those of a more spiritual or mystical bent the absolute high point of my visit to the Lake Titicaca area was a day trip (booked through the front desk) with Rene to three sacred sites including Aramu Muru. Leaving at 2ish and back at the hotel around 7 it was just me and Rene in his car spending the afternoon talking and me learning about the Andean mystical tradition. The more Spanish you have the better but even if not the beautiful sacred places really speak for themselves. He’s knowledgeable, generous, there was as much time as I needed at each site, I gave him a fat tip on top of the very reasonable cost and he was worth every penny. More interesting to me personally than Machu Picchu.
I had I very pleasent stay in this hotel. The staff is very nice and helped me with everything K needed. They recommanded redtaurants, booked tours and buses for me and found time to chat a little wihle I was waiting. The breakfast is one of the best I have had so far in Southamerica. Sooo many fruits!! The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Good place to stay while you are in Puno :)!!
The hotel is in a quiet street close to the main square and main streets too, just about 5-6 minutes walk. I was there for two nights on 24 & 26 April. Very impressed by the excellent services of their staff, especially Jimena, who can speak fluent English and was so helpful to make calls for me to my guides upon my requests. I stayed there for two nights. And one very accommodating thing was that they had tea bags, coffee, hot water and cups ready in each floor of the hotel so everybody didn't need to go down stairs to get some hot drinks and simply walked out the room a little to get access to drinks whenever needed. So convenient and I was deeply impressed !! Details make differences and I think the hotel is doing excellent in this. The breakfast was quite nice too with many kinds of fresh fruits, and strong wifi and hot shower in room !! The price was absolutely at perfect value. Highly recommended !!
Arrived late, friendly service in English. Left early after great breakfast. Hotel stored my luggage and areletting me wait here for four hours for the next bus. Shower very hot and good TV and WiFi reception.
