CCC IS.. Pros: Super cute and fully equipped with all the things you need to cook meals or make a getaway convenient. We flew into Reno and immediately grabbed our car and headed to Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods before driving to the lake. I emailed early and requested an early check in and that was not problem as it’s low season and they were not full. The property was clean and provided a quiet and relaxing experience. Cons: It’s a family owned property and it’s not corporate like at all and so I expected more of a personality to this place and it was so bland. It was our 5th Wedding Anniversary and there was no mention or anything special.. I mean the checker at Trader Joe’s bought us flowers when I mentioned it? Anyway it’s not a big deal but they could up the game a bit in the hospitality area!! I would stay here again with a group but other than that I am going head over to the Ritz Carlton next time.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay a couple of weeks ago at Cedar Creek Cottages. Our cottage was very comfortable/spotless with lovely linens and a well equipped kitchen. We love the Homewood area, and are eager to book our next stay at this wonderful place!

The cabin had stylish interior design, with design graphics. Kitchen was very well appointed and the bedrooms downstairs had very comfortable beds. Everything was very clean and towels were extra soft. The firepit outside our cabin (Woodpecker) was amazing, we barbecued steaks for dinner and roasted marshmallows in the fire. The grounds are beautiful, with a short walk to lake shore. There weren’t many other visitors during our stay so it was very quiet and peaceful.

We stayed here for two nights in the autumn. Cottages had all we needed and were very nicely decorated and maintained. Would have been nice to have stayed for longer. Wil try a longer stay in the summer or winter season next time.

My husband and I love to hike and EAT! So for a getaway one weekend last month,we checked into the Cedar Crest Cottages,in the quieter side of Lake Tahoe called Homewood. The photos don’t really do justice..It was so beautiful, with many native mountain flowers planted, maintained for that Tucked Away feeling. The cottages have names to define which one. Ours was the Osprey.. Inside ..lovely stylized renderings in a modern format capture the essence of this fine bird. The Chickadee was next cottage over. The beds..the pillows..the fully furnished kitchen.. A washer and dryer.Great shower and baths. what more could Avid hikers and eaters want?? Well one thing would be our Labradorables that we left at home. This isn’t a place for pooches, but you won’t mind. Loved the Cedar Credt Cottages..and we’ve already planned to return this winter.!!

6 of us stayed in the owl lodge for a wedding over the Labor Day weekend for 3 nights. We were all impressed by the style and comfort of the home as well as the amenities. Would stay there again in a heartbeat! Also, when I left an item in the bathroom the staff was quick to respond and send it to me. I will be forever grateful that they did this for me. Highly recommend all the cottages as our friends stayed in the other ones and loved them also.

This marks our 3rd visit to Cedar Crest and it continues to impress. The upscale units are roomy with beautiful designer finishes.Blythe and her crew are so friendly and helpful and made us feel very much at home. The property itself is beautiful. We really enjoyed our visits to the fire pit each evening. We look forward to many more stays at Cedar Crest.

Our family stayed for three nights in the peaceful Mallard Cabin at Cedar Crest Cottages in July 2018. The beautifully remodeled accommodations, with a filtered view of Lake Tahoe just across the street, were even lovelier than the photos! There was a full kitchen, washer/dryer, dishwasher and three TVs. There is also a wonderful fire pit open to all guests until 10 pm each evening. The Cottages are close to many, many great restaurants and local markets as well as to plenty of places to rent bikes, boats or other water sporting equipment. We will definitely return to this beautiful facility and very enjoyable climate. Thank you to Blythe for the hospitality!

We shared a 3 bedroom cottage with a total of 3 couples. These cottages have been rebuilt with terrific amenities and design. Each bedroom was spacious with great closets and bathrooms. Lots of space, very well designed, clean, terrific. The cottage had a combo kitchen/living area that was very nice with a dining table for 6, plenty of nice utensils for cooking, modern appliances. Really nice. My only negatives are that the living area is small with not much comfy seating and not particularly cozy. More of a modern feel than rustic cozy- no fireplace. There is also limited outdoor space. Good for 2 people but tight for more. These is a nice sitting area with fire pit that is shared by other cottages. GREAT things about Cedar Crest Cottages: Homewood is quiet, beautiful, charming. The cottages have access across the street to Lake Tahoe, which is rare and wonderful, and the management is WONDERFUL!!!!! Very easy to communicate with and very helpful and professional. We would definitely stay here again.

We recently spent four days and three nights at Cedar Crest Cottage while attending our son's wedding which was held nearby on the lake. Everything about our stay was excellent I can not say enough about how we were treated. Blythe who is the onsite host goes the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect and you really feel welcomed. We stayed in the three bedroom Eagle, and it was appointed like you would want your home more than a rental. The layout was perfect for us with the master down, and two bedrooms up with their own bathroom. Everyone loved the radiant heating in the floors. The fireplace was great, the views had just enough view of the lake and when it snowed the second night it really added to the charm. We only prepared one meal in the unit, which was breakfast for us and guests. There was more than enough room and everything needed for us to prepare a large breakfast for ten people.
