Perfect Mountain Getaway close to amenities!

We loved Mountain lake mindset! The back deck is peaceful and the proximity to the Rumbling Bald resort and amenities was great! We had plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 children to spread out and relax. We look forward to another trip here!

Great weekend away!

Very impressed with how clean and beautifuly maintained this property was! Driveway is a bit steep but being in a cul de sac makes for easy parking if you dont want to handle driveway! The hot tub was very clean and nice as well!!

Family Time to Unwind and Enjoy

It is a very cozy and beautiful property with everything you want for a relaxing time. Lake Lure is a beautiful and quaint area to sight see. We spent a lot of time at the house just playing games, doing a puzzle and eating. We needed a couple more days to enjoy it all but definitely plan to come back.

good experience comfortable furniture and beds very nice appearance and well appointed plenty of space for a group of 8 having a hot tub and a game room downstairs as well as a pulled out sofa was a plus there were 2 draw backs however it was in the middle of nowhere and the driveway trenchers

Loved our stay!

We had a lovely time at the cabin. It was clean, spacious and cozy. The bbq grill was great as was the outdoor seating. And the air conditioning worked perfectly - it was quite hot outside while we were there but the house was cold! Access to Rumbling Bald was amazing. Our kids loves the pool and the beach. We rented kayaks too! Dinner at Legends on the Lake was delicious. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

House is great, driveway is not.

House was very clean, great amenities for kids.... games, firepit, hot tub and such. The Tv's I was not in love with, especially the one downstatirs. For some reason the volume is disabled, I got around it with a fire stick but it was aggravating. Drive way is a narrow and a touch scary, when we left it was raining and our front wheel drive vehicles (CRV, Highlander) would not climb the hill going forward..had to go in reverse. Great communication with managers as they called me seeveral times throughout the stay and overall pretty happy with my stay.

Mostly Great

The arrival and check-in process were easy and the appearance of the home was what was pictured. It was super clean and we liked having both the dishwasher and washer and dryer on the main level. We had issues with the fireplace and hot tub and contacted the property management company. They were very quick to respond and addressed the fireplace issue within hours. The hot tub was another matter. One reason we reserved this home as because of the hot tub. When the heating was not working, we were told that it was because of the cold temperatures. Now, we have had hot tubs and with the thermal cover on, never had an issue with heating the water. The other thing strange in the house was the heating inside. It was very cold in one bedroom and warm in the other. So cold, in fact, that we had to pull all the comforters out of storage and use them. Also, the lower level was so cold that is was usable for gatherings like the table tennis and game room. Overall, it was a good location and the home was comfortable and we would stay there again. Thanks to the host and management company.
