Not much substance under the veneer. Not bad, not good. Staff seemed inert and less than eager to come to desk to facilitate check out and when asked if hand sanitizer was available (hint: it wasn't) they seemed confused/unconcerned/annoyed that someone would ask them a question.
I liked this hotel very much. I was traveling with my small dog and the hotel was very welcoming. I was surprised they allowed also big dogs. Just make sure you have your little dog in a short leash.
It was ok for an overnight stay but the bathroom was fairly old and not so clean. The view was pretty bad. Hotel was ok but I will most likely look for another hotel when I visit again. :(
We’re not able to sign in to our rooms until after 4 pm Difficult to open & close the bathroom door in our room. Breakfast selections were cold
Very friendly and helpful staff
Location was perfect
Hotel was not worth $250 a night. It makes no sense to have a reduced staff force with limited amenities and charge more than $200 a night during off season
Enhanced cleaning during covid seemed good. Breakfast was some single serving cereal and yogurt. I think hotel can do something better Did not use pool. Wifi good.
Covid rules were followed, staff took care of any issues quickly, beds were comfy..
The property was very clean and the staff was wonderful. It was nice to be in such a clean room especially during these times. The breakfast setup was also nice. We were happy that there were still options.
We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Lake George. Although not located smack in the village, it was up a hill and off the main road so it was in a lovely quiet setting nestled among pines. The hotel is still within walking distance to the village and the lake and you can easily be at Million Dollar Beach within 15 minutes at a leisurely pace. The free breakfast was good if carb-laden. Saves you having to buy breakfast and as we are not big on breakfast it did the job quite nicely. I liked that the hotel was clean and modern and the beds comfy. Rooms were quite large. Our party of 6 enjoyed two rooms with queen sized beds and had plenty of room to move about. Highly recommend staying here for the modern amenities if outdated rustic is not your thing (which seems to be quite common for the area).
Great hotel close to the wedding venue. Clean, large rooms, great breakfast was a bonus
Nice hotel close to Lake George Village. Clean. Nice staff and good breakfast. Pool is a little small.
Great location, near many restaurants, gas stations and outlet stores. We stayed here on our way to Killington- its about 1.5hr drive to Killington ski resort from the hotel. Outside of the hotel and the lobby are very welcoming- nice fireplace in the lobby and a bar that is open Fri/Sat night. Rooms have mini fridge and microwave which is nice, otherwise standard hotel room. Super friendly staff. Would stay here again and recommend to friends.
