We visited the first week of October so there were not a lot of people staying at Marine Village. It was quiet. We asked for an upgrade to rooms that faced the lake and they were able to accommodate us for a reasonable price. Everyone from the front desk to the grounds workers were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms and grounds were very clean and well kept. I have a lower score on services because they did not come clean our rooms o e day and I had to go get clean towels myself but The cleaning lady was nice about it and they didn’t miss anymore days after that.

The night staff was very accommodating when we realized we had no screen on our window and the A/C stunk. They switched us to a new room and it was 100% better. I really liked the outdoor space (beach, kayak, play area) and how we were within walking distance of a lot of shops and restaurants. I think the pictures made it look like the all rooms were separate cabins when in reality there were only one or two like that. The rest were just like a motel.

The new gas firepit was a hit with the kids. Someone was always available to turn it on for us. Pool was heated. Great location. This was our 6th time here and will definitely go back.

Great Family Place in Lake George

We had a great five nights at Marine Vilage Resort in August. The room and grounds were very clean and well maintained, especially for a lakefront motel with a beach. The beach and swimming area were very accessible and with the playground and swimming pool, it made for a great place for kids to play and enjoy. The fire pits were nice at night to sit around. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is a very good overall location with so much of the area within easy walking distance.
