It was pretty loud at times but otherwise we enjoyed it. Will go back again.

We were not allowed to have breakfast due to the need of accommodating guests via bus to eat first because “they are already paid”. We were guests of the hotel as well and paying guests, too but the manager did not bother to allow us and instead told us to eat somewhere else. There were other 2 families that were treated the same way.
Great pool and bar area. Unique ambiance. Plenty of free parking.
This hotel is in a good location - convenient. It is a family environment.
Location is great for walking in and out of the village but still be fairly quiet. Definitely proof of updates but a lot to be done. Outdoor pool was great for kids, Could benefit from updated furniture but overall nice. Rooms had new floors and showers. Ceiling had a bug water bubble and peeled paint. We had to stay a 3 night minimum but would have preferred to leave after 2.

Beware if there’s more than one person in a room. Tub didn’t properly drain and I had to wait 30-45 mins after someone to take a shower. Plus didn’t get a refund for something that was discussed with two staff members onsite.
It smelled musty. On top of that another patron was smoking a joint two rooms away.
I have been co.ing to the Tiki for about 10 years. Tjrough that time they have done many renovations and upgrades. When i was a boy in the 80s this hotel was open. It has stood the test of time. Great breakfast and aervice in the Garden Cafe. Beautiful outdoor and indoor pools. They offer basics snacks and drinks poolside. Always the same great staff year after year. Best bang for your buck..no BS. Love thos place!!
We asked the maid to just bring us towels and toilet paper, instead of a full clean, and she didn’t bring us anything. We barely had enough toilet paper the last day.
