Tiki Resort

The only downfall to our stay was that none of the onsite restaurants were open except for breakfast only. However, there are plenty of places to eat which are in walking distance. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Lake George.

Had a nice stay at this hotel. Stayed in the main building (deluxe). Not sure how the other side compares. Resort has everything you need (2 pools (1 indoor, 1 outdoor), fire pit, bar, restaurant. Great location. Would stay again.

The overall hotel is true to its 3.6 rating. Based on cost, value & location, it was a very good option. One of the front desk clerks had a very displeasing attitude. While another was very nice. So that came down to individual character. The most disappointing thing was the food at the Polynesian dinner show. The food tasted like slop, the coconut shrimp was half cooked, the rice tasted like rice a roti, the carrots looked stewed from a can. I gave the feedback to the front desk, and I was informed, that they get that a lot. (shocker). Our bill for 2 kids & 4 adults was almost $300, (For first timers, I suggest, you follow the review, and only opt for the show). The food was the worse experience of the entire time at tiki resort/lake george. Our desserts all went back, and we never got a price adjustment. Frozen ice crystals were embedded in the strawberry slop cakes. Even the kids, 3 & 6 didn't want to touch it. I advise eating off the resort. Caffe Vera across the street has really good breakfast, and very reasonable, we even ate dinner the next night at the boathouse restaurant, ordered a bottle of wine, and the bill was less by far, worthy, and the food was delicious.

Hotel is OK, staff is friendly and very responsive, but WIFI is terrible and practically non-functional for any purpose. If you need a stable internet connection for your work or other things, this hotel is not your choice.

Would definitely stay here again, great room for the low price. My only complaint is that the refrigerator in the room is kind of warm? Tried to change the settings but the coldest it got was maybe 55°, not sure what that is all about

We really enjoyed The Tiki Resort. The staff were very friendly, and welcoming. Check In was quick and easy. Our room was very clean, and a nice size. The hallway was a little musty on the first floor. We had a good time in the pools, both outdoor, and indoor. The grounds were very well manicured. Very beautiful. We had breakfast at the coffee shop. The food was good, and reasonably priced. I liked that we were very close, (walking distance) to the beach, Fort William Henry Battlefield, and Museum, the shops, and other attractions.

Not what I had expected. We had bugs on the walls, spider webs in the corners of the room and the ambiance was very dated. The beds were the only part of the room that seemed to be updated but our sheets didn't have a very fresh smell. After seeing where they wash all of the towels and linens, I can see why.. GROSS! I guess you get what you pay for. Next time ill stay across the street at the Holiday Inn with Chingy.

Nice hotel, friendly staff and walking distance to all the fun and activities Lake George has to offer.

satisfactory, I really liked it, I enjoyed my stay

The room had all the amenities - coffee, microwave, fridge. The pro was that the bed was quite comfortable. The cons were that the internet/Wi-Fi was spotty, and a couple of the outlets did not hold our plugs very well and probably needed to be replaced. Other than that, we were comfortable in the room.

We went for the worlds largest garage sale. There is great sceany right around the area.

We requested a quiet room due to being a light sleeper online when we paid. They obviously didn't even read or make sure this request was honored as we were next to and across the hall from a loud wedding party. There were plenty of empty rooms throughout the resort so obviously our request wasn't even looked at.

Great staff and service. We enjoyed our 2day stay and look forward to coming back! We recommend them to anyone.

We got to the hotel and had to be moved multiple times because the room smelled like mold/mildew. Management was accommodating but couldn't offer us the Same room our entire stay so we moved three times, with two small children. The hotel is just old. The lounge was dated, and while the staff was friendly, the atmosphere felt dark and uninviting. Our room appeared to be clean but so did my sisters, and her family left with bed bugs. After calling management to let them know, they showed little concern, but did say they would check out the room. Based on my experience with the management staff, I have little faith that was done. Beware when booking at this hotel. You don't want to leave with bed bugs. Trust me. It's been quite the lengthy and expensive process to get rid of them. Based on our entire family experience I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lake George.

Got drunk couldn't sit in pool for fireworks though kinda lame. Pool was good..during day ...Lotta jersey joeys n there kids

The Tiki was fine, nothing fancy but more than adequate for a get-away weekend in early October.

We stayed at the hotel for Octoberfest and the Fort William Henry Ghost Tour. We had a great time. Walking distance to all the gift shops, arcades and all the diners on Canada street. Will go again in the future

Went in October and a number of places closed. Hotel very close to village. Stayed at the motel side. Very clean and empty this time of year. I would recommend staying in rooms furthest from highway, since it can sound like a raceway at night when trying to sleep.

Hotel provides good value, close enough to the village and lake.

I was not that happy with my stay at Tiki hotel/motel because of several reasons.. I picked this hotel because they were 1 of the few Hotels with in room jacuzzi & spent more money for special request. The jacuzzi didn't work the first day & I couldn't believe no discount or apologize for unit not working.. I am glad repairman fixed unit but never any excuse.. Also went to this hotel for atmosphere of special show !! I was told show wasn't on Sunday because they take that day off .. Ok no problem so I was told show would be on Monday. Monday no show because there is no show??? The rooms are setup weird because if you stay in hotel (not motel on right)you can't get to lobby?? Also there is a smell in entrance to rooms & I didn't understand... I would not stay here again!!!
