House keep is not the best, they can do better....
No lights bathroom was flooded made multiple call no answer
I liked that the pool and beach were close together. The room was good but could use an update.
If you have small kids, this place is for you. Between the brand new play ground, kiddie pool and shore line of the lake, this resort was everything you needed to just stay and hang out. Walking distance to major attractions of Lake George. Can’t wait to go back.
Enjoyed our brief stay at Scotty's, but would request a different room, unless the air conditioner had been replaced. We spent our first nights on top of the sheets with sweat beads rolling down our faces. If we hadn't been paying inflated 4th of July rates, we could have lived with it. In addition, someone was outside our room the night before we left, putting off firecrackers at midnight. Not what you want to hear when facing a ten hour drive the next day. Other than those situations, everything else was positive. Great location, convenient but not in the middle of town, very clean, lots of families, plenty of activities close by, and friendly staff. Guests could rent paddle boats and kayaks right on site.
Very nice place to stay. highly recommend it..staff was great rooms are nice grounds are great
The rooms were sufficient, a bit dated but okay. we stayed in a double queen near the lake so it was very convenient location to the beach and pool area. The resort is located within walking distance to the downtown area of Lake George so that was good. We arrived on a Thursday so it wasn't very crowded until Friday afternoon and then the pool became a zoo. The beach area is large with more than enough chairs. The kayaks and paddle boards were for rent and only on an hourly basis , so that could get pricey. There were no daily options for rentals. also, the paddle boards were not in the greatest shape. (Not everyone cares for the equipment they rent) Overall, it was an average place. Adequate for a few days stay at the Lake.

Cathy thank you for reviewing your experience. We are happy to hear you had an overall enjoyable stay minus a few bumps along the way. We are sorry to hear that the issue with the air conditioner was never properly addressed. I can assure you this is not our standard and am disappointed to hear that proper action was not taken.
