Rodeway Inn Lake City I-75

First of all, there's no Sign to say this is Rodeway Inn. Nothing on the building ..a tall faded illegible sign on one side and nothing on the other. Second... Advertised...Breakfast Included. Breakfast was A sweet roll and coffee. No juice, no milk No tea... Nothing to drink since we don't drink coffee... NOT A BREAKFAST INCLUDED.. and that was my only requirement when searching. Third....No shampoo...No conditioner...No lotion...One tiny sliver of soap...One tiny bottle of unidentified blue liquid.. Fourth...One mostly used up roll of toilet paper...No extra to replace it No coffee or coffee pot..etc... I chose Roadway Inn because it was the.. highest rating in the area with breakfast included in the same price range.... It certainly IS NOT

Its a ok place to stay.. there lot of food by the hotel.

Floor was quite dirty. It is just a place to sleep that's all. Our bed sagged into the center which made for a rough night.

The gentleman on duty when I checked in at around 11:30 P.M. had all the paperwork ready for me to sign when I got there. He was very efficient and friendly which I much appreciated since I was very tired. The room itself was basic but comfortable and clean, as was the bathroom. The TV lacks a lot of the channels that you find at better higher priced hotels but it hits all the basic and most popular networks so I can't complain. The only issue was the Indian man was a bit rude at checkout the next day, but other than that this is a excellent basic hotel and a fair price and would not hesitate to stay here again when I pass through this way.

Very clean room. Very good personnel. Warm welcome on arrival. Felt like family.

Nothing fancy, outdated bathroom, but room was freshly painted with nice bedspread and carpet. Room was very clean and well maintained. All rooms are on the first floor. Easy to load and unload right in front of room door. Staff was very friendly.

The only good thing about this place was the gentleman that checked us in and the location. Other than that, we will never stay there again! The bed was horrible...when we sat on the bed we sank to the box spring-which was covered in plastic. The sheets were not clean at all, the pillows looked like they had been there for years as they were flat and uncomfortable! The AC didn't cool the room even though it was on full blast..it was just not a good place to stay!

For a safe, clean, quiet place to rest your head for a night, this place was fine. The location is right off the highway and parking is outside your door.

All I required was a place to rest overnight, to break up an 11 hour trip. The Rodeway Inn provided exactly that, at an extremely reasonable rate, compared to other motels in the area. Furnishings were old but adequate and clean. Bed was comfortable. The owner & staff were very polite & friendly, & concerned with the quality of my stay. I would stay there again.

I've stayed at the Rodeway Inn in Lake City twice a year for about ten years while attending music festivals in White Springs and Live Oak lasting 3 or 4 days. The Inn has everything I need at a reasonable price ... microwave, coffee maker, small refrigerator, ironing board & iron, hair dryer, TV, clean room, comfortable bed, and parking right in front of the room. A few breakfast items are available in the office lobby, but I generally bring my own simple food like boiled eggs, yogurt, and fruit. In addition, there are numerous restaurants within walking distance including Cracker Barrel. Unfortunately, someone had turned the temperature in the refrigerator all the way down so my can of soda froze and exploded after 3 nights so I had a bit of a mess to clean up in the bottom of the refrigerator. Hopefully, I will remember to check that the thermometer is not set too cold during my next visit in May.

I wante a place to crash at night and didnt expect much from my last minute booking but this hotel was great for the price. Room Was big, very clean, had microwave/refrigerator/iron etc.

asked for non-smoking room, as I am extremely allergic, but was given a smoking room; was a hassle to switch to a non-smoking room

I enjoyed the stay at Rodeway Inn because I took a self getaway trip and that was a perfect place to be. It was near everything, restaurant, movies, shops, etc...I would go there again.

The additional lock was broken on the door, but other than that, the room was clean, plenty of towels, clean bathroom. I would stay there again.

Nice hotel for the price. Well lighted, large and clean rooms. All the In room amenties you could ask for. Quick and courteous check-in.

Needed a place to stay on the way to south Florida. Room was clean, a little highway noise but not bad. Numerous restaurants within easy walking distance.

Needed a quick place to stop for night. Easy access off highway, exterior first floor rooms made this good for me. Nothing fancy, but clean.

[...] My suggestion is DO NOT PAY WITH YOUR DEBIT CARD......just use a credit card and then dispute the charge later. Hindsight is great, right?

Efficient check-in, rooms were what we expected. We were pleased with the lighting in the room - so many motels have poor, inadequate lighting (strain to read).
