The staff was incredible! Including all: front desk, breakfast crew, maintenance, and housekeepers. They were very kind and patient during the emergency evacuation due to Hurricane Irma. I can only say good things about the people working at this location, even when the power went out, everyone was assisting the guests to the best of their abilities. My family and I are very grateful to all the persons at Fairfield Inn & Suites Lake City, who made our stay a pleasant experience, during the crisis.
This place was very convenient- right off the exit. Check in was easy and friendly. Parking is free and plenty of it. The room was comfortable, spacious and quiet. In the AM, a hot breakfast was included. Definitely worth checking out plus you get Marriott points.
As evacuees from Irma, we spent 6 days here. The hotel is clean and the rooms comfortable but the biggest asset is their staff. They went above and beyond to see that their guests were taken care of. This was an emotional and stressful time for all, guests and staff alike, but the team here remained cheerful and eager to help in any way. Example: on the night the storm was scheduled to pass through Lake City with every probability that power would be lost, the team spent the night in the hotel, away from their families, and got up crazy early to get a hot breakfast prepared. The power went out at 6 AM so they could not complete total prep but guests still were provided with hot coffee, oatmeal, cereal, milk and fruit which was greatly appreciated by all. I will always remember the kindness and suppprt offered by this talented staff!
Stayed here on the way home from Key Largo. Room was okay, A/C was good. Hallway was not cooled. In room coffee and fridge. Shampoo and conditioner were not full, lotion was absent. Ample parking. Pool was closed.
I have stayed in this hotel several times over the last few years and overall it is slowly deteriorating. This particular stay was extremely dissatisfying. I had 3 of my grandchildren with us and had told them all day that they would be able to swim when we got to the hotel. When we arrived there was a sign saying it was closed. When I asked the desk clerk about if it was closed she said yes it was closed for renevations. I did not remember it being stated on the web site and asked the clerk if it was stated.. She told me yes. I went directly to my room and found that it in fact was not stated on the Marriott Web site. It is bad enough for the disappointment but being lied to is absolutely not acceptable. It seems that the service overall with Marriott properties that I stay at is sevierly in decline especially with the quality of the integrity of the associates. This is very disappointing given that I have an extremely long history with the brand.
We always know this is a good overnight stop on our trips to and from Florida. Lots of others know this too. The place is always clean, comfortable, and quiet with a helpful and courteous staff. The breakfast selection provides us with all we need on our trips.
Our 4 girls, a service animal and these exhausted parents arrived to find a spotless and gorgeous hotel waiting for us. 10 hours of sleep later, we headed down to a delicious breakfast. Eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, bagels, oatmeal, juices and wonderful coffee. I'm sad we had to leave! Thank you for treating these weary travelers to a top-notch experience. Your entire staff was friendly and so sweet. Again, thank you!!
This was a spur of the moment reservation, we were traveling and decided to stop for the night. I called the actual hotel, he transferred me to reservations, she was delightful, very pleasant and gave us a great price for the night! It is difficult to find as it is at a dead end behind a camper dealership. Our room was king and was exceptionally clean, they had breakfast the following morning with sausage, biscuit, gravy, waffles and much much more. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star was the guy at check-in Colin. He seemed as though everyone was bothering him, as though he had better things to do.
Very nice hotel. Clean. Helpful staff. Modern. Quiet Perfect weight blanket. Great water pressure. Spacious bathroom Rooms very adequate plenty towels. Large parking lot. Nice to have a pantry available.
Third time staying here and all three times have been consistently very good. Staff is friendly at check-in and ate breakfast. Breakfast is better than most.beds were really comfortable, but the sleeper sofa was thin with rubbery blankets. Too bad for the kids.
