Referring to the Indian housekeeping lady who was also making breakfast. She will follow you down the hallway screaming in her language and knock on your door at exactly 10:59am for you to leave. Extremely rude and frustrating dealing with her.Based on other reviews she has a tendency of this behavior, unknown if shes the owner but if not she needs to be fired. TERRIBLE WITH PEOPLE!! She makes the hotel stay feel unwelcome. Everyone else was nice including who seem to be her husband embarrassed trying to calm her down.
We used this as a stopover between Houston and New Orleans to break the trip up. Lovely and clean as well as very quiet. Our first room we were given, the TV didn't work. We were quickly transferred by staff to another room. Too easy. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Loads of eateries nearby, as well as shopping. Would stay here again if on the same route.
Lake Charles Quality Inn. When you first walk in very clean lobby and small breakfast nook for the guests. Continental breakfast consists of sausage eggs biscuits and gravy cereal milk oj toast danish and toast or waffles. Very affordable price. Room was very spacious clean comfortable and relaxing. Would recommend to anyone.
Nice place to stay, nice staff, good and hot breakfast. coffee was so good. Fruits and yogert was added to the breakfast. I was traveling on a business trip. I will select this hotel for my future stay. clean room, close to Casino. close to food places. nice and clean pool. .
Recently renovated under new ownership, very Clean & comfortable, spacious room, friendly staff at the frond desk, all the needed amenities are in the room. Quite affordable room rate with choice privilege points.
Our desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Our room on the 2nd floor was suppose to be non smoking. It had been sprayed with something and we just couldn't stand the smell. We told the desk clerk and the owner was there and said he would move us to another room. We had a King suite but were moved to a room with one queen bed. The room was clean but the hotel needs updating. It was ok for just one night.
I was very surprised at the condition of this motel. It is in the "old" era even though it looks new from the outside. The air conditioning unit was still in the window and was still operated from the unit, not from a control on the wall. The room was excessively muggy and damp feeling. A light in the bathroom had water in it, due to the fact that there was no fan in the bathroom. No non-slip mat or stickers in the tub and I slipped down on the 2nd day. The room keys were disabled the next day and this was the same for the people across the hall from us. Their key had been disabled each day they tried to get into their room. The bed was horrible and hard. They need to step it up several steps.
We're not talking "Continental" here. Hot and Cold Eats and drinks for any appetite or Jet Lag. Not the Ritz but great staff, parking, and location to everything including shopping, restaurants, lakes, and casino fun.
the room i order i did get they said that i order on line so they counding give us the room i order me and my wife got sick cauise they were pariting on 3 floor so we left went to e.r very sick we could take it nomore
The Assistant GM and the GM over charged myself and five other families. Which we all incurred over draft fees. Which means they use your money to draw interest on until you get it straightened out. Of course everything is your banks fault. One family put up two cards and they charged both cards, The GM cancelled one families room, they had to find another Hotel and the GM still charged their card over three hundred dollars and still tried to blame it on these people ban. Another family checked in on Wednesday they charged their card on Thursday through the following. When you try to find out who their boss is or the owner they refuse to tell you. I wonder if it because they may get in trouble. If you ask too many questions they just hang up on you.
