The house was not ready and the designated check In time (4:00pm) it was still being cleaned until 6:00pm. The host communicated to me that the cleaners were late starting on the house and we were understanding and worked with them. However, we were on a staff retreat and it threw off our timing for day one of our annual retreat. The host was unfortunately at the mercy of his hired cleaning crew and for that we were willing to work with them. But the cleaner did not do a good job. I personally suffer from allergies and the decor above the bunk bed room in unit C was sooo dusty and there were dirty towels left under the sink crusted over (I took them down and put the with the towels that we used during our stay). The refrigerators need a deep cleaning and things left by previous guest have not been thrown away. Ideal location and the house is described and decorated really cute. The bbq grills were dirty and food left in them. Overall my stay was fine just needs some attention to the small details that make a big difference and encourage people to come back. If changes are made we would consider coming back to the area next year.
