House nice but need attention in several areas
Our experience was both positive and negative. We would prefer your large spacious house in Lake Charles as opposed to a hotel room.
The Water was very foul smelling we were unable to use it to brush teeth, uncomfortable to bathe, cook, wash dishes with sulfuric smelling water. We had to purchase water to drink and cook with. Bugs throughout house cockroaches and others. In living room there was a cut on sofa and the blinds were broken. And there was tape on the windows. The Bedroom curtains were inadequate to keep out the traffic lights and noise. Very noisy road and window seal full of nasty dead bugs. Closets doors had fallen off the hinges and left leaning.
With attention to details and thorough cleaning we would rent the property again.

Nice place
The house and property were nice, very clean and spacious. Plan on drinking bottled water as there is Sulphur in the tap water. We did some laundry and the smell does not stay in your clothes. Other than that its a decent place to stay.

Very disappointed
I wish the listing would have mentioned the awful smelling water. The tap water was undrinkable and when we walked in the house, it smelled. There was no way that 7 people could sleep here comfortably. Living room furniture very uncomfortable and kitchen was not very well stocked. The whole house was not very user friendly.
