The host was wonderful. Very quick to respond to questions and always helpful. We enjoyed our three-night stay. Everything was clean, the cabin is very cute and comfortable. The kitchen is amazing with new appliances. It was everything we expected and more. We were able to totally relax and enjoy ourselves.

The house was stunning, well taken care of. Had everything you wanted and needed. It’s very cozy, the fire place was great. CJ was excellent to deal with, answer any question very quickly. He provided all the information needed for the house and surrounding areas. Check in was breeze and there was bottle of wine waiting for us. Everything was clean and ready to go. Highly recommended this property.

A Cozy Cabin

This cabin is beautiful and so cozy! One of the best appointed places we’ve ever stayed. If you’re looking for a cozy, traditional cabin vibe in a place with tons of amenities you can’t go wrong with this place.

Cozy Cabin Weekend

This cabin was absolutely delightful. The gas fireplace was warm and cozy and was great to just relax around. The kitchen is well appointed, We really enjoyed our stay.

The house is a beautiful log cabin and has a homey, comfortable feel to it. Very comfortable bed! CJ, the host, was very responsive. The back deck is small, but has a secluded feeling, even with it being in a neighborhood. Would stay there again.

We loved our stay at Bear Pause Retreat. Comfortable, quiet, beautifully, and comfortably decorated with all the right amenities. The AC kept things cool, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the enclosed porch was perfect for morning coffee—especially with our Beagle safely by our side!Great host, great communication. We’d absolutely stay again. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay and absolutely beautiful home

We absolutely loved this log cabin. Was so relaxing and inviting. Lots of room too. Near lakes other activities. Will definitely be back and hopefully longer stay.

Perfect little getaway

My husband and I had decided to get out of the city for he weekend and we came across this adorable cabin! It was perfect for a few days away! Cabin was beautiful, clean, and communication with owner was great! We would Definitely stay here again.

Perfect Log Cabin

This place is even better in person. It is so charming, clean and cozy. I cannot sat enough nice things about this home. The lake is so close which is a huge plus!

True cabin feel at Lake Wallenpaupack

Very nice property with a true cabin feel. Cabin was well-appointed with everything we needed for a weekend stay in the Fall. The kids loved the loft sleeping area.

Pleased with weekend getaway
