Nice place to stay

Reasonable price to stay

Convenient for my needs, but located in older part of Lafayette. $50 credit card hold policy was not explained upfront. AARP rate applied. Security was very visible.

The hotel is very run down. The room is outdated, had stained carpet, and the stucco ceiling is peeling. In the room we stayed at the microwave and mini refrigerator had rust on it. This place needs renovation really bad! The positive about this place, dogs are welcome.

Property is very old, stinks outside from human pee. Occupants smokes right outside their rooms.

Room didn't get cleaned . Told house keeper, that I would like to have my room cleaned. They only fixed the bed didn't change the sheets . And left trash in the room.

We had to wait nearly two hours to check in because the rooms weren’t ready at 3 PM. The toilet in one room would not work. The rooms were in disrepair and generally unclean feeling.

The hotel was reasonably priced, but, the area was a bit scary. People not staying at the hotel were always walking around , even eating breakfast! Watched one man eat, then leave with fruit, eggs, waffles and a plate of muffins- he didn't go to a room , he went on down the highway frontage road. My room had two towels.. for four people. Asked for towels every day. One bed was not made the second night because my purse was on it. That is fine, but, the house cleaning stopped there. the bathroom and sink area were not touched. This meant that at 9pm we had to go to the front desk and request toilet paper and towels again. We were given two hand towels and told we would have to wait for the rest because she had to wait for security to come in order to go get toilet paper and more towels. Waited until 10 pm! She did bring the toilet paper and one towel. Kind of interesting that the staff didn't trust the area enough to go get supplies without a security person to follow them. Other then that, the hotel room itself was very smelly and unpleasant, the toilet backed up with each flush. its a little rundown. Staff was very nice , very apologetic, but at the same time not helpful.

Service and stay were very good. Breakfast was served on time and had plenty of good choices.

Hotel is a bit older, but clean and recently updated. Very comfortable bed.

I have had only good experiences with La Quinta Inn hotels until now. We asked for non-smoking rooms but first room given smelled like cigarettes. They change our rooms. Rooms still smelled funny and looks like an old room in progress to being remodeled, but still in progress. Hotel is close to the Interstate if you don't want to deviate from your journey, which is good in that sense, but location seems like it's not a nice area.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean and well equipped. We especially enjoyed our breakfast the next morning. We felt like "family" because of the friendliness of the staff. We will definitely use this hotel again.
