The home was as advertised and overall the host was very attentive to any issues we had. However the bathroom could use some more counter space. There is room to add something to the right of the sink to provide more counter space. As of right now there is almost no counter space. The outlet near the main dining area never got upgraded and is essentially useless.

Perfect for the three of us -- one couple and a solo. Nicely situated near the Reservoir and Downtown Lafayette. Stayed for 9 days to visit old friends and enjoy the East Bay: perfect for our needs.

Okay

The dwelling smelled awful upon stepping inside. Lots of spray deodorizers were used to try and mask it. It was coming from the closet which had been wrapped with some sort of black rubber to insulate. Main bd rm windows face host windows, with not adequate shades to impede light coming from their room. You should know that the back door code is different from the front door. Do not use chain lock when you exit w/o knowing back door code as well. Vrbo posts "hot tub", which there is Not one. Nice view out back porch, and clean kitchen. Bath tub is extra long for a relaxing fit. Had games and tv works.

Great place!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The location near the reservoir and easy access to Berkeley and San Fran was perfect for us. The listing is accurate and we were very comfortable with everything needed for our stay. We would definitely stay again!

Quiet, great location

This location was perfect for our stay. It's close to lots of restaurants and shops and the BART station is within about a mile. The reservoir was great for hiking around. It was a very quiet peaceful stay.

Lafayette Stay

This is a great spot to stay in Lafayette, our family was there for graduation. Loved having a kitchen. Parking was easy. Proximity to Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda 👍 the place is not lavishly decorated… but provides a good option vs a hotel.

It was easy walking distance to town one way and to the Lafayette reservoir (our favorite hike) the other. The place was spacious and had everything we needed for a two-week visit—a home away from home.

A Hidden Gem

Needed a place to stay ASAP as my daughter woke up w/a fever and I couldn't afford to get sick as I had a race that weekend. Saw this place and told the owner of my predicament and I was able to stay the day of (Tuesday) until Friday. Walked in and the place was immaculate. I didn't use the kitchen other than storing my water bottles and using a bowl and spoon to eat my cottage cheese and pineapple, so couldnt' tell anyone about the appliances/accessories, but all seem to be there. Again, everything was clean and the place smelled clean (no ammonia, no food aroma, no mold) it smelled like nothing. The bed was comfortable and so was sitting on the dining table. Now I know where to go when I need sanctuary. ;-)

It was a little tight, but I didn't get lost even in the dark finding this place. The address was off a little but it's a condo so we were directed just next door when knocking on the door; the neighbor was kind even tho she got disturbed when I had to knock on her door. Plenty of towels, cabinets are labelled so faster to find what was needed and location is within walking; for me; distance for food and other supplies/needs. Great little village, the park/reservoir is only 1 ½ miles away and a great walking path(s).
