LONG TERM RENTAL AVAILABLE ONLY - This 3BR/2BA Cottage, in The Village of Silver Lake, is walking distance to Silver Lake Recreation Center. Conveniently located 2 miles from Spanish Springs & 4.6 miles from Lake Sumter Landing. Orange Blossom Hills Country Club is only 1.9 miles away. Minutes from multiple pools, walking paths, shopping, entertainment, golf courses and many other activities.
The Subdivision is an adult community designed to provide housing for persons fifty-five (55) years of age or older. All homes that are occupied must be occupied by at least one person who is at least fifty five (55) years of age. No person under nineteen (19) years of age may be a permanent resident of a Home, except that persons below the age of nineteen ( 19) years may be permitted to visit and temporarily reside for periods not exceeding thirty (30) days in total in any calendar year period.
Please be advised, this home is being offered as a LONG-TERM RENTAL at $2,600/month, UTILITIES included (excluding internet/TV). Please send an inquiry if you are interested in renting this home. Small dogs is OK (WITH WRITTEN APPROVAL). Security deposit = 1 month's rent.

Due to the deed and covenant restrictions no one under the age of 19 may reside in the house for more than 30 days.
Golf Cart: Be sure to make arrangements ahead of time to have a rental golf cart delivered to the house for your arrival.

Resident IDs: You will need Village Resident ID cards if you want to use the amenities in The Villages. The amenities include neighborhood pools, family pools, sport pools, pickleball, classes, golf at the executive courses, ability to reserve tee times, etc. IDs cost $50 and The Villages only allows two per home. After you obtain your temporary Resident IDs, you can request guest passes for others in your group. Pick up your Resident IDs first, then go to the Recreation Center to fill out the guest pass form for your guests.
Mail/Amazon Packages: The mailbox key is not given out to guests. Please have Amazon packages delivered to an Amazon locker; And Amazon will not always deliver to the house, and owners / leasing agents are not responsible for any mail or packages.
Smoking: No smoking or vaping on the premises. Violations will result in termination of your reservation.
Pets: THIS IS A PET-FREE HOME - Absolutely no animals allowed on premises at any time.
Supplies: The home will have a starter amount of supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods, trash bags, etc. There is enough for a three-night stay for your convenience. If additional supplies are needed during your stay, you are responsible for purchasing these.
Repairs/Maintenance/Damage: If anything needs to be repaired or gets damaged during your stay, please inform us as soon as possible, and we will have a handyman or repairman come out and address the problem.

We loved our stay! Home is clean, beautiful design and all the amenities we needed and more. Perfect distance from Spanish Square. Excellent.
This home was very nice, spacious, very clean with all of the wonderful amenities. We were very pleased with our stay, the house, location, and the ease of this rental. I have already recommended to family members to stay here as well. Excellent.

The place showed that the owner took a lot of effort to create a theme throughout the house.. It was surprising to open the closet door and see a stuffed tiger looking at you and an elephant table.
As for what could be improved
- pillows too smelly and very flat
- towels in linen closet were not even folded or smelled clean, kitchen needs more dish cloths and dish towels, second bathroom needs towel under the cabinet to use, kitchen cupboards could be empty more for groceries, have cleaning supplies for the bathrooms you want the tenants to use, second tv more options to watch , free golf cart to use, and Air fresheners.
It was a convenience for walking to the park and having the Newcomers book to locate and learn about things in the Villages.
We did not have water for most of a day and it was a huge inconvenience . I had to go through many phone calls to determine the cause and when it would come back on.
Ii left the two papers regarding the information on why it the water was off and a second paper about boiling water before drinking the second day.
Maybe it would help to address utility numbers, groceryy store locations, medical urgent care areas . My husband got ill and had to go search to find an Urgent Care and. A pharmacy.
We did have a great time there and have wonderful memories .
