Lovely hotel with charm. Warm colors and inviting Decour. Room was spacious clean and convenient. Location ideal to explore the river front as well as the many shops and restaurants downtown. The only big drawback was the exercise facility which only included three outdated machines and was very hot.

Great room. Clean and spacious. Would definitely stay here again.

We were 2 couples stayed in a 2 bedroom for an event at the lacrosse center. The only thing bad was there is only 1 bathroom. Otherwise it worked out perfect and was a great place to stay.

I had a conference at Viterbo U, and the Grandstay's modest but very effective business center and free wifi enabled me to complete my talk in the comfort of my room. Then, I could print a total of 40 pages (the laser printer had more capacity than even that) in the lobby and was ready for my talk in time. Plus, the Grandstay was a convenient 10 minute taxi ride to Viterbo U. Thank you, Grandstay!

We were new to the area of LaCrosse and this hotel provided a lovely setting on the River Walk. Staff was very accommodating. We had everything we needed in a nice suite. Hope to return.

When arriving for check in the front desk attendant seemed rushed and inattentive. Most places we stay tell us the hours for breakfast and give recommendations about amenities and local sites, but the attendant seemed put out with questions. Road construction made this a very difficult location to find, but it is very close to great dining and shopping options. The river is easily within walking distance. The location was the only positive thing about our experience. The 2 Room Suite felt cramped with paper thin walls and some of the most uncomfortable mattresses we have ever slept on. The room was very clean with comfortable linens. Breakfast was lackluster and kind of a disappointment with very little variety or flavor.

Very much enjoyed our stay at the GrandStay. Great rate for this upscale hotel, especially compared with other equal hotels in the same area. Will make it our go-to for LaCrosse vacations.

Was in town for 1 night and needed a two bedroom unit. The room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel is very clean, and close to the river as well as park. The staff is very friendly.

We stayed just 1 night to spend time with our daughter. We made dinner in our kitchenette which made a very relaxing evening. Took advantage of free breakfast which was average.

pretty hotel, nice area to spend an autumn weekend, helpful staff.

This hotel is very nice. It's not too expensive for what you get when you have a kitchenette, living room, AND bedroom. They have a nice continental breakfast too.

It is several blocks from the Radisson and Holiday Inn, yet they have very nice rooms with a kitchen space, comfortable beds, everything clean, good continental breakfast and is cheaper! Why go to more expensive places for the same value at a cheaper price? Definitely nothing to complain about unless you are picky or stuck-up.

My two friends and I stayed here while on a girl's road trip to La Crosse. We felt safe and secure in the neighborhood. We were able to walk to the river walk in just minutes. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. But we didn't need them much, as our room was awesome! Absolutely clean and comfortable! We loved the beds! We would for sure choose this hotel again!

I have stayed at the Holiday Inn down the road the last few times I've been to La Crosse and haven't been impressed. I made the switch to The Grandstay and it was newer, nicer, more comfortable, and much roomier. Additionally the continental breakfast was a nice bonus and it's still within walking distance to local restaurants, bars, shopping...weather permitting. Nice Hotel.

This was a great hotel to stay in and the price was right. The only downside was the breakfast. It is not recommended. The hot food breakfast concept was great and much appreciated BUT...the eggs were soggy, the bacon tasted terrible, the sausage was favorless. In spite this, I would still recommend this hotel as a good place to stay. It is ideally located near restaurants for dinner and the University. The rooms were really nice as well.

A very nice experience. However the remodeling detracted from it.

My husband and I traveled to La Crosse for a weekend and really enjoyed this hotel. We have a small dog that we always travel with and it was great to be able to have our dog stay for only $10 extra. The hotel was very clean and eye pleasing. The rooms were very spacious and met our needs. Also nice to have complimentary breakfast because other hotels in this price point and star rating do not.

Clean and comfortable. Great breakfast. A quiet spot just off the downtown.

Front desk was very friendly. Room was very comfortable and clean. Loved having separate bedroom and TV in both rooms. Greet kitchenette. Lots of pillows. Great location and quiet room. Plan to go back again.
