People socializing in the hall is annoying, given the thinness of the walls at this location

My room was very clean. The women working the desk was very polite. I found it annoying that there was a phone/fax machine at the front desk that beeped continuously while I waited behind 5 guests ahead of me to check in. The clerk made it seem like it couldn’t be turned off. One party ahead of me had problems with their room keys working right after being given them. I’d stay there again but it was costly since every hotel booked up in La Crosse that night. Normally I’d never pay over $70 to stay a a place with such few amenities but it had WiFi and was clean so I’m giving them a good rating.

The room was neat up to date and clean. Even though it was a bit noisey it was good night stay

Room had blood stain on the wall and pillow case. Bathtub was dirty, dirty tissue and old room card slip never thrown away. Did not stay the night

This place is run down. Lots of seedy guests hanging around hotel. In parking lot, in lobby/ we were asked if we wanted to buy drugs three times before check in. people screaming in hallways This is clearly s local drug dealing hangout

I booked Motel 6 for my Wisconsin vacation because it was close to the airport and its ad promised Wi-Fi, a microwave and fridge in every room. I had stayed at the same location nine months ago and had been pleased with the amenities. Not so this time. Upon checking in at 4:30 PM, I found that my assigned room had not even been made up yet. I was given another room which had 1) no fridge 2) no microwave 3) no alarm clock 4) no bathtub drain stopper 5) no phone directory or Bible 6) no CLOTHES HANGERS! Staff told me that the missing items (above) had been ordered but hadn't yet arrived. In all fairness, my room did have a TV and decent towels, and the Serta Fireblocker king-sized mattress was only four months old. The aging motel seemed to be in the throes of an extended renovation. Applications for part-time housekeeping help were being accepted. The Wi-Fi was down when I checked in but was restored the following day. The pillows and bedding were of the very cheapest sort. The only coffeemaker was in the front lounge. To compensate for the missing fridge, I was permitted to leave my cold drinks in the staff refrigerator, which turned out to be located in the janitor's closet next to the mops, detergents and insect spray. Yes, Motel 6 is a no-frills chain but, renovation or not, this particular location was not up to its previous standards. Management, are you listening?

no amenities in the process of some remodeling, looks nice.for just a place to lay your head, it worked.

Trash on the floor, dried food on inside & outside of microwave, window wouldn't shut, table dirty, band-aids on the window, faucet leaked all over the counter, towel rack almost came off the wall & DIRTY UNDERWEAR HANGING ON THE SHOWER ROD!!!

found black mold in the bath tub ,let front desk know

It was clean, the staff was nice. The hotel needs to be updated .

Don’t know cancelled reservation. We didn’t stay there. We chose another hotel.

All the bare necessities: A bed, a desk, a tv, a sink, a tub, and a toilet.

5's all the way. Definitely in the top 5% of all Motel 6s. Great bed, great TV, super clean.

room not so clean, it was stinky while entering the room, hotel room not so clean, it was stinky while entering the room. room not so clean, it was stinky while entering the room. hotel room not so clean, it was stinky while entering the room. room not so clean, it was stinky while entering the room. hotel room not so clean, it was stinky while entering the room.

The appeal of this hotel is that it cost 25% of other hotels. I needed two beds and a shower for 11 hours and this was the cheapest option but worth it. This was my second stay there. The rooms are old with carpet to match and each time there was a soft spot in the floor (it may have been the same room both times). The walls and finish work are shabby to say the least. The reason I stay there is that it's cheap, the beds are comfortable and appear clean, the shower has had hot water, and I can grab a cup of coffee in the morning. Also, nice enough TV, fridge, and microwave. Clientele has some characters but seem to be in the same boat as me for the most part. Staff has been great. I'm just sure to pack everything I will need as very little is provided with the exception of towels and wash clothes. I also pack flip flops to wear in the room, shower shoes, and strip the bedspread off as those don't necessarily get cleaned every time from what I understand (I do this and bring these to all hotels, not just this one). Overall, exactly what I was looking for but I'm not going to stay there on a family vacation. I could have spent 4 times as much at a different hotel and had the same observations.

No ac No other rooms available with ac Card locks on outside doors didn’t work! Room smelled!!!!! ATM in the front door then can go right up to the second floor bypassing the lobby. A lot of single men going in and out of the hotel. I think you can guess what’s going on. Don’t stay at this hotel.

Room was clean, out side look of hotel was ok, The in side (rooms) was better than what out side look like. I do understand the room I was in was updated with a hard smooth floor(non-capet) which great. And the hallway were clean and up-keep was excellent.

TV next door was turned on . It had to be full Hi volume at 3:00 am. I finally pounded on the wall and they turned it off. Very large dog was in the corridor when we went to leave could not get down corridor wiihout the dog sniffing and putting its wet nose on your hand. Owner seemed to think we should stop and pet him. We are not Dog people and do not trust them especially that size.Bathroom fan was very noisy and second switch was not working.
