Room was ok, hallways were dirty and smelled damp, as well as the stairwell. No restaurant as listed, breakfast was two kinds of cereal and some Little Debbie snacks left out. Room key stopped working about every 3 days so I had to keep going to the desk over and over. Freeway right out front so no end to the noise.

It was okay as a place to sleep. Rooms had a comfortable bed, tv, fridge, and bathroom. It is an older Days Inn that still had original toilet, bathrub, sink and counter. It was okay to spend the night.

This hotel is inexpensive for a reason. It is an older hotel, but recently appears to be going through new ownership, and they are renovating the place. The fact that they are investing into the place gives me some promise that it will be a good low-cost option next time I visit La Cross. Staff was very polite, well dressed, and welcoming.

This was perhaps the worst stay I have ever had. Staff were aloof and unhelpful. No elevator. Room was "remodeled" and bed was adequate. Bathroom - DIRT came out of the tub and shower. There are two small drawers for clothing; no rack or hangers for hanging clothes, had to hang them on the chain for securing the door. BREAKFAST was a joke. Kleenex were given as napkins. A large jar of peanut butter and jam with shared utensils and frozen waffles, along with a gallon jug of shared milk constituted "continental." Building under construction - no pool. Don't let the one photo fool you. This place is a HOT MESS.

Booked 2 days with free cancellation. Tried to cancel 1 of the days during the free period & they would not drop the day without charging me $900 for the first night room. Room literally an empty room with a bed. No closet, no hangers. TV needed some kind of system update. Toilet seat broken, shower handle fell off in my hand & tub clogged so you stood in ankle deep water for your shower. Only ice machine in facility was broken. Their idea of a continental breakfast was a half full gallon jug of milk in a small frig, half a jar of peanut butter & half a jar of jelly with knifes stuck in them. A couple of half gone loaves of bread. Room frig made chugging noises all night. I will not stay here again.

The photos make the property seem like it was renovated but only 1/4 the property was. The pool is out of service and the continental breakfast is a joke. They basically put out a gallon of milk and 3 choices of cereal for you to choose from and a loaf of bread they bought from the local Kwik Trip. The rooms had new flooring installed but they had paint spots all over them. The bathroom was never touch in the renovation. Out rooms buy it in the tub you could not shut off. Water was running constantly. The air handling unit did not work. The TVs in the room only worked on Internet connection which was spotty and I had to connect my phone tethering in order for the Internet to work on the TV. I would not recommend staying at this hotel unless you’re willing to oversee these above issues.

Probably one of the worst hotel I've been in. Felt dirty sleeping there and couldnt wait to leave. Smelled horrible and had to turn the AC on and leave for awhile before coming back. Don't believe the pictures that are on the booking site. Absolutely does not represent what you get.

Filthy. Carpets looked like they had never been cleaned. A brown stain on the toilet paper roll. Tried to plug something in and it blew out the lamp. No drinking cups. Room smelled like cigarette smoke. Do yourself a favor and take this place off your list. I left after I saw my room and am now sitting in a nice clean Hampton inn room.

Do not stay here. I’ve stayed at nicer hotels for half the price. Hotel looks abandoned. Staff was not friendly. Half of the hotel was not functional. Rooms had 1 pillow per person and they do not have any additional. Not enough towels. Breakfast was cereal and bananas. Beds were so noisy any time you moved they were very squeaky. No restroom in lobby they direct you to an abandoned room with a bathroom in poor condition. The pool is out of service. There is no signage on the outside saying it is CORATEL Inn. Wish I could get a refund.

It was over priced for the room quality. Only one set of towels in the room, no cleaning or seeing we needed new towels for the 2nd night stay. Leaking. Water from shower or toilet not sure or sink. Shower was rusted and looked like it was going to fall off the wall when we use it.No tv guide, no local channels all old shows not what program they had in there tv’s. Breakfast was cereal with milk sitting out was what I seen and a microwave did not go into decided to each elsewhere for breakfast. Pool was under maintenance. Outside still had garbage from the first day we checked in out there when checked out.

You get what you pay for, and booking site pictures can be deceiving. On the inside it looks like a run-down hotel, despite the renovations, which is taking longer than needed or they don't have a budget to continue funding. I saw a bucket to collect water from a roof leak just above the lobby, plus the carpeted area closest to it is already stained, only bare floors beyond that. I didn't see an ice machine; the vending machine was empty and unplugged (sodas and snacks were available at the lobby). I booked a room with 2 queen beds but was assigned one with 2 full beds. No chair or lamp for the desk. Not enough outlets on the walls, so the single nightstand between beds was full of cables charging devices overnight. Beds were comfortable, and the A/C unit was in good operating conditions. The bathroom floor was not clean, and there was neither toilet paper holder not hair dryer available. My booking included breakfast but can't call it that. The bag in the coffee machine was empty, a generic sugar jar was empty, no milk in the fridge, no spoons to eat the cereal with, and bread slices were spread all over the counter with a couple of large Wal*Mart jars of peanut butter and jelly left open to be re-used the following day. No dedicated employee to take care of the breakfast area so returned to the lobby for help, then they brought out the coffee, milk, bananas, and mandarin oranges. I did not even go down for breakfast on the 2nd morning of my stay. I would not recommended.
Bananas and mandarin oranges after lobby guy also brought the milk
Notice empty sugar jar. Orange juice machine was working but coffee yet though
