Ok place for price, piol area fun for kids

Hotel needs updating lighting inside was bad, limited tv options, workmanship is very poor and try to cover with paint instead of having it done right. Still could smell cigarette smoke from when it was allowed.

The stay was quite disappointing. It appeared that renovations were underway, and the cleanliness of the hotel was severely lacking. The pool and hot tub were filthy, and the overall facilities felt outdated and in need of major improvement. However, I must commend the staff, who were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout my stay. I hope the hotel addresses these issues soon, as it has the potential to be a much better place to stay.

The heater fan was noisy, kicking on and off every 30 seconds. We ended turning it off so we could sleep which ended up cold in our room. Couldn't keep any humidity in the room if we did heater...so dry!! The lady running the desk seemed overwhelmed. We were the only ones waiting in line at first as she was talking on the phone which seemed like 10 minutes. When she did get to us, she had several people waiting. No instructions how to get to our room..no map!! The biggest thing that worried us is the plastic bag over the smoke alarm!! Room 131

Overall this is a pretty good older AmericInn. Have stayed in others that were more updated. >> Pool did not open until 8:30 Am which caused us to have to wait since we were up early. Hot Tub/Whirlpool is NOT very hot. Mainly upper warm. Some items in the room needed attention: like batteries for TV remote, missing or burned out lite bulbs, broken strap on the foldable luggage holder. We did leave a note in the room.
