When we arrived and I inquired if our room faced the Mississippi river we were told it did not. However, the desk clerk upgraded our room so we had a patio with sliding glass door right on the Mississippi river at no extra charge. The breakfast was really good. And the pool area was clean and fun!

The room was clean, breakfast was amazing, and loved the pool. Everyone was extremely friendly. Will be staying there again.

We came by boat, so it was so easy to dock and walk up to the hotel. The room was cooled down which was a lovely touch!

Very old and dirty. The pool was nice but the water and the pool area was cold ! Also on Sunday morning an employee arrived and told us to leave the pool! The kids were still playing and I think they should clean the pool area in another time .

A bit outdated with rooms facing the indoor pool area, which makes it feel creepy that others are looking at you from their bed rooms while you’re enjoying the pool. The carpets need to be cleaned. Otherwise, it’s a decent hotel to stay with family.

Great swimming pool area and large breakfast available each morning!

The beds were very uncomfortable. The parking was terrible too. The breakfast was good but the person working un the room was very nosy.

the food in restaurant was delicious and the waitress very nice rooms walls must be very thin

Very good hotel. Located on the river. Nice grounds. Very good service, staff, amenities, pool, hot tub, 24-7 coffee and good breakfast too. The only drawback was a mild chemical odor that permeated the room. Otherwise, an excellent value for the amount paid.

The hotel does not seem up to the standard of clean, fresh and updated that we have come to expect from AmericInn. Seemed like a nice waterpark inside to take kids, but the rest of the facility seems a little run down and though sheets were cleaned- the room seemed dusty and hadn't been vacuumed, towels were clean but very worn- and oddly, there is no place to hang them up in the bathrooms. It is also sprawling hotel- a little tricky to get around. Staff were kind though and breakfast was good enough.

Nice hotel with docks. I wish the pool area was open later than 10:00. PM. Also the dumping bucket of water ever 4 minutes is NOT relaxing!

This was a nice place. And the Tiki bar was fun, because of the people working there. They were all having fun working with each other and were very friendly. And Maddy Was such a beautiful person. Maddy, you will go far Semper Fidelis!

Appears to be a family destination for holidays, birthdays and such. Poolside rooms were noisy during regular pool hours, but staff enforced quiet hours very well and night time was quiet. Grounds were clean and the riverfront was beautiful. Breakfast area was spacious and clean, breakfast staff were helpful and friendly.

Selected this hotel after viewing indoor waterpark photos online. Arrived to learn the waterpark consisted of an indoor pool with fairly nice water slide which was closed because there were not enough guests in-house to bring in the lifeguard needed to operate it and was only open on weekends. This was the last week of summer vacation and a special week planned with grandsons before school started. Would have planned differently if we'd been advised of limited services on week days. Facility has older domed ceiling over pool area which was leaking badly during a rainstorm. Many obvious repairs needed throughout.

This hotel is right on the river with onsite indoor-outdoor restaurant, pier, sandy beach area (no swimming), short walk to public beach. Breakfast was great with lots of space to sit and very attentive staff. There is a sand volleyball court and a run-down but still fun mini-golf course. The pool has more than shown in the photo...a toddler wading area with small slide, basketball hoops, and hottub. BUT, note that the big slide has limited weekend hours that it's open. We arrived dinner time on Sunday of labor day weekend and it was never open. They said it had closed at 4pm and was only open weekends and not on the holiday.
