Quiet, peaceful retreat near Kyoto Station

I wanted a quiet house near Kyoto Station to write and relax, and this was the perfect choice. It's in a residential area, so there's no street traffic. The bathroom is fantastic, with a great soaking tub that overlooks the maple tree. It's also conveniently located near Aeon Mall, making it easy to bring groceries home. I had everything I needed, and the hotel was very responsive to communication. The only thing I could think of adding might be a bicycle. I hope to stay there again soon!

Communication about check in time and arrangement was poor. I sent messages in Japanese but they reply occasionally in English, which was strange. I was asked to send all my details including passport number and a photo despite they have all the details with booking , but after all, I had to fill in details again on paper. Very inefficient and time consuming.

地點方便，處於京都駅與大型京都Aeon 中間，方便購物 但衛生環境真的比較差，首先，門口石級與屋邊中間的空隙怖滿蜘蛛網，廚房廚具擺放凌亂，廚具用品怖滿微塵，雪櫃頂鋪了一層微塵，爐具和廚櫃需要移開小枱才能使用，極不方便 梳化後面勁多髮絲，放在梳化旁的Dyson 吸塵機清潔不乾淨，塵盒吊住長髮絲，不敢使用 將來暫不考慮再租住這町屋

とても静かでゆっくり過ごせました。 スタッフの方にも大変ご親切にしていただき、次回もぜひお世話になりたいと思いました。 おうちの作りはコンパクトだけど機能的で、中も古びて荒れたところ等はなく、気持ちよく過ごせました。 一点だけ、お手洗いの扉の裏側と敷居を確認してくださるとさらに良いかもです☺️ ありがとうございました。
